Polymeric dispersants containing one or two quaternary amine anchoring groups with improved chemical and thermal stability
The present invention relates to a dispersant having a tertiary or quaternary amine anchoring group and a solubilizing polymer selected from C.sub.8-50 fatty acid; a C.sub.8-50 ak(en)yl substituted succinic acid, anhydride or partial ester; a dimer or trimer fatty acid; and/or polymers from repeating units of polyesters, polyethers, polyacrylate, polyamides, polyurethanes or mixtures of said repeating units in a random or blocky copolymer. The dispersants are an improvement in that the alkylene connecting group between the tertiary or quaternized amine and the solubilizing polymer lacks abstractable hydrogen atoms at the geminal carbon atom from the nitrogen of the tertiary or quaternized amine over the prior art. The dispersants are useful as dispersants with improved thermal stability and low amounts yellow color after aging at elevated temperatures.

CROSSLINKING AGENT COMPOSITION FOR WATER-COMPATIBLE RESIN, AND WATER-COMPATIBLE RESIN COMPOSITION
A crosslinking agent composition for water-compatible resins which comprises a hydrophobic crosslinking agent, a water-soluble organic compound, one or more oily media selected from among hydrocarbon-based solvents and ketone-based solvents having a solubility parameter of 9.0 (cal/cm.sup.−3).sup.1/2 or less, and an aqueous medium. The crosslinking agent composition can improve the storage stability of a water-compatible resin composition. The water-compatible resin composition which contains this crosslinking agent composition can give cured objects satisfactory in terms of water resistance and solvent resistance and is suitable also for use in wet-on-wet coating.
STRUCTURAL POLYURETHANE ADHESIVE
In a structural polyurethane adhesive, a polyisocyanate component contains a first prepolymer component containing a first isocyanate group-terminated urethane prepolymer which is a reaction product of a first material polyisocyanate consisting of an aromatic polyisocyanate, and a first material polyol containing a macropolyol; and a second prepolymer component containing a second isocyanate group-terminated urethane prepolymer which is a reaction product of a second material polyisocyanate consisting of an araliphatic polyisocyanate and/or an aliphatic polyisocyanate, and a second material polyol containing a polyether polyol having a number average molecular weight of 160 or more and 4800 or less. A ratio of the second prepolymer component with respect to the total amount of the first prepolymer component and the second prepolymer component is 2% by mass or more and 35% by mass or less.
WATER REPELLENT COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING WATER REPELLENT COMPOSITION, AND FIBER PRODUCT
A water repellent composition includes a polyurethane resin compound, a non-fluorine water repellent compound, a surfactant, and a liquid medium. The polyurethane resin compound includes at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a first polyurethane resin compound, a second polyurethane resin compound, and a third polyurethane resin compound:
ADHESIVE TAPE
The adhesive tape of the present disclosure includes: a substrate; and an adhesive layer disposed on one surface of the substrate. In the adhesive tape of the present disclosure, when a breakdown voltage in a thickness direction of the adhesive tape is represented as X (unit: kV) and an initial elastic modulus evaluated from a stress-strain curve in a tensile test is represented as Y (unit: N/mm), an inequality Y ≤ 4.5X -22.5 is satisfied. The adhesive tape of the present disclosure has an excellent balance between insulating properties and winding properties in winding work.
Rotaxane and polyurethane using the same
An object of the present invention is to provide a novel rotaxane and a polyurethane using the same. The present invention provides a rotaxane having a crown ether and a chain molecule piercing through the cyclic structure of the crown ether, wherein a hydroxyl group exists at one terminal of the chain molecule, and a hydroxyl group bonds to the cyclic structure of the crown ether. The present invention further provides a polyurethane using the rotaxane as a polyol component.
