POLYURETHANE OR POLYURETHANE UREA, ANTITHROMBOGENIC COATING AGENT, ANTITHROMBOGENIC MEDICAL TOOL, AND PRODUCTION METHOD
Provided is a technology for exhibiting good ant ithrombogenicity.
A polyurethane or polyurethane urea has a graft chain having a specific structure. Two functional groups included in the specific structure are each an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, or an aralkyl group having 7 to 20 carbon atoms and may be the same or different from each other.
Elastomer material modified by a hybrid hard segment material and preparation method thereof
An elastomer material includes at least two components; the first component includes isocyanate prepolymer obtained through reaction of polyol and isocyanate, and its —NCO content is 22-30%; the second component includes 50-70 parts of polyether amine, 2-10 parts of liquid amine chain extender, 5-15 parts of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, and 1-15 parts of hybrid hard segment material; the hybrid hard segment material includes one or more of nano titanium dioxide, nano aluminum oxide and nano silica. Through adjusting the —NCO content of the isocyanate prepolymer, increasing the hard segment content, and combining with the components in the second component, the invention ensures the elasticity of the polymer while improving its mechanical properties, and also improves the electrical insulation and wear resistance of the material.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION, AND DYEABLE FIBER MADE THEREFROM AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
A thermoplastic polyurethane composition includes a first thermoplastic polyurethane compound and a modifier formed by subjecting a modifier-forming mixture to a thermal mixing process. The modifier-forming mixture includes a second thermoplastic polyurethane compound, a copolyester modifying agent, and a compatibilizer. The copolyester modifying agent is present in an amount ranging from 5 wt % to 30 wt %, and the compatibilizer is present in an amount ranging from 0.5 wt % to 5 wt %, based on a total weight of the thermoplastic polyurethane composition. A dyeable fiber made from and a method for preparing the thermoplastic polyurethane composition are also disclosed.

The present invention provides polyurethanes including a reaction product of components including: (a) an isocyanate functional urethane prepolymer comprising a reaction product of components including: (i) about 1 equivalent of at least one polyisocyanate; and (ii) about 0.1 to about 0.5 equivalents of at least one diol having 2 to 18 carbon atoms; and (b) about 0.05 to about 0.9 equivalents of at least one branched polyol having 4 to 18 carbon atoms and at least 3 hydroxyl groups; and (c) up to about 0.9 equivalents of at least one polyol different from branched polyol (b) and having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, wherein the reaction product components are essentially free of polyester polyol and polyether polyol; compositions, coatings and articles made therefrom and methods of making the same.
End-capped polyisobutylene polyurethane
A polymeric material includes a polyisobutylene-polyurethane block copolymer. The polyisobutylene-polyurethane block copolymer includes soft segments, hard segments, and end groups. The soft segments include a polyisobutylene diol residue. The hard segments include a diisocyanate residue. The end groups are bonded by urea bonds to a portion of the diisocyanate residue. The end groups include a residue of a mono-functional amine.
Alkylene oxide polymer endcapped with an aryl ether alkoxylate block copolymer
The present invention relates to a compound comprising a hydrophobically modified poly(oxyalkylene-urethane) having a hydrophobic fragment represented by Structure I: ##STR00001## where Ar.sup.1, Ar.sup.2; R.sup.1, m, and n are defined herein. The compound of the present invention provides viscosity stability upon tinting for paints containing a hydrophobically modified poly(oxyalkylene-urethane) rheology modifier, more particularly a HEUR rheology modifier.
