Also disclosed are indigo-dyed fibers, textiles, and fabrics made using O,O′-diacetyl leucoindigo, wherein cellulose, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, nylon, wool, and other compositional fiber types are suitably dyed with indigo dye using the described compositions and methods.
