There is provided a water-based alkaline composition for forming an insulating layer of an annealing separator on a soft magnetic alloy, this composition comprising ceramic particles with a particle size of less than 0.5pm and at least one polymer dispersion as a binding agent, the polymer dispersion comprising one or more mixed polymerisates from the group made up of acrylate polymers, methacrylate polymers, polyvinyl acetate, polystyrene, polyurethane, polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxylated cellulose ether, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, and polyvinyl butyral, and having a pH value of between 8 and 12, preferably between 9 and 11.
RHEOLOGY ADDITIVES BASED ON HYDROXYLATED DI-OR TRI-AMIDES AND MIXTURES THEROF
The invention relates to a fatty amide which is a di- or triamide based on a polyether diamine or triamine which can be used as organogelator and in particular as rheology additive, said amide comprising a specific mixture of hydroxylated fatty acids and short hydroxylated acids. The invention also relates to a formulation composition using said fatty amide as rheology additive and to its use with this aim in coating, adhesive or PVC plastisol compositions and in particular transparent or non-transparent mastic compositions. Said rheology additive has the advantage of not needing a specific activation process before use, in contrast to the other known fatty amide additives based on hydrogenated castor oil derivatives.
SINTER POWDER (SP) CONTAINING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE, A PLASTICIZER AND AN ORGANIC ADDITIVE
The present invention relates to a sinter powder (SP) comprising 59.5% to 99.85% by weight of at least one thermoplastic polyurethane (A), 0.05% to 0.5% by weight of at least one flow agent (B), 0.1% to 5% by weight of at least one organic additive (C), 0% to 5% by weight of at least one further additive (D) and 0% to 30% by weight of at least one reinforcer (E), based in each case on the sum total of the percentages by weight (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E). The present invention further relates to a method of producing a shaped body by sintering the sinter powder (SP), to a shaped body obtainable by the method of the invention, and to the use of at least one flow agent (B) and at least one organic additive (C) in a sinter powder (SP) to improve the flowability and coalescence of the sinter powder (SP). The present invention further relates to the use of the sinter powder (SP) in a sintering method, and to a method of producing the sinter powder (SP).

A method for producing a surface coated with a coating having an improved coalescence, the method including: providing a composition comprising from 99.6% to 99.99% by weight of at least one powder of at least one polyarylene ether ketone and 0.01 to 0.4% by weight of a hydrophilic flow agent, the hydrophilic flow agent being hydrophilic silica; depositing the composition onto a surface forming a coated surface; and baking the coated surface to form a film on the surface.

A fluidized-bed coating method includes: immersing at least part of a workpiece in a powder coating material contained in a fluidized-bed vessel while air is introduced from a bottom of the fluidized-bed vessel at an average air flow rate of 5 mm/min or higher and 20 mm/min or lower per unit area of the bottom so that a floating ratio of the powder coating material is 5% or higher and 20% or lower, the workpiece having a temperature higher than or equal to a softening temperature of the powder coating material and lower than or equal to a melting temperature of the powder coating material; taking the workpiece out of the powder coating material; and heating the powder coating material attached to the workpiece.
POWDER COATING MATERIAL FOR FLUIDIZED-BED COATING
A powder coating material for fluidized-bed coating has a volume average particle diameter D50v of 5 μm or more and 20 μm or less. The powder coating material shows an aerated flowability energy AE of 5 mJ or higher and lower than 100 mJ as measured with a powder rheometer using a vessel having a cross-sectional area with Ø50 mm under conditions of a rotary blade tip speed of 100 mm/sec, a rotary blade helix angle of −5°, and an air flow rate of 20 ml/min.
Multi-functional additive for mar and scratch resistance in chemical coating compositions
A mar and scratch resistant additive that possesses multifunctional and other characteristics is described. The additive comprises a binder system platform that is easily introduced into a wide range of chemical coating platforms. The additive may also be introduced to these coatings by way of a silica carrier to simplify its use.
