A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer consists of a dried product of a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. The water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains a water-dispersible polymer, water, and polyacrylic acid. The polyacrylic acid content is above 0.1 parts by mass and 7 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the water-dispersible polymer. A thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is 10 μm or more and 40 μm or less.

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND SURFACE PROTECTION SHEETS INCLUDING THE SAME

An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) includes an acrylic polymer produced by free radical polymerization, having a weight-average molecular weight (M.sub.w) of less than 830 kDa; a relative peak width at half height (PWHH) of the acrylic polymer is 1.75 or less or, the acrylic polymer has an entanglement molecular weight (M.sub.e) of less than 50 kg/mol, the relative PWHH of the acrylic polymer being the ratio of an absolute PWHH of the acrylic polymer determined from differentiated DSC signal of the acrylic polymer at glass transition temperature (T.sub.g) to an absolute PWHH of a reference acrylic polymer obtained by reacting ethyl acrylate and acrylic acid in a weight ratio of 100:5 with 10 mmol/l AIBN, wherein the absolute PWHH of the reference acrylic polymer is determined in the same manner as the absolute PWHH of the acrylic polymer, and M.sub.e being calculated from a plateau modulus determined by rheological methods.

Methods may include preparing a polymer composition by adding ethylene, vinyl acetate and one or more polar comonomers to a reactor or extruder, wherein at least one of the one or more polar comonomers include an amine moiety; and reacting the ethylene, vinyl acetate and one or more comonomers to produce the polymer composition. Compositions may include an adhesive film composition that include at least one layer including a polymer produced from ethylene, vinyl acetate, and one or more polar comonomers, wherein at least one of the one or more polar comonomers include an amine moiety.

Disclosed herein is a bio-based copolymer comprising in polymerized form (i) at least one polymerizable bio-based monomer containing one phenolic hydroxyl group which has been derivatized to provide at least one polymerizable functional group which is an ethylenically unsaturated functional group (such as a [meth]acrylate group), where the precursors of the polymerizable bio-based monomers are derived from raw lignin-containing biomass, and (ii) at least one ion-conducting co-monomer other than the bio-based monomer. Also disclosed herein are binders comprising the bio-based copolymer, electrodes comprising the binder, polymer electrolytes comprising the bio-based copolymer and an electrochemical device comprising an electrode in electrical contact with a polymer electrolyte, wherein at least one of the electrode and the polymer electrolyte comprises the bio-based copolymer.

A provided protective cover member is a protective cover member configured to be placed on a face of an object, the face having an opening. The protective cover member includes a laminate, and the laminate includes: a protective membrane having a shape configured to cover the opening when the member is placed on the face; and an adhesive agent layer. The adhesive agent layer includes a cured adhesive layer of a silicone adhesive agent composition including an addition-curable silicone adhesive agent. The above protective cover member is a member reducing deformation thereof and peeling thereof from a placement face at high temperatures, for example, in reflow soldering.
