The present invention is to provide a laminated glass having excellent impact resistance and a projection image display system. The laminated glass of the present invention includes a first glass plate, an alignment film containing a vinyl alcohol resin, a retardation layer formed of a composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound and a compound represented by Formula (1), a cholesteric liquid crystal layer, and a second glass plate in this order.

Thermally conductive electrically insulating compositions and structures and devices comprising such materials. In various embodiments, such materials comprise liquid crystal polymer and fillers, wherein the fillers comprise boron nitride and glass fiber. In various embodiments, the liquid crystal polymer is selected from the group consisting of semi-aromatic copolyesters, copolyamides, polyester-co-amides, and mixtures thereof.
LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION, LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYESTER FIBERS, FIBER STRUCTURE AND MELT MOLDED BODY
Provided are a liquid crystal polyester resin composition and a liquid crystal polyester fiber both capable of suppressing gas generation during melt-heating as well as producing a molded body of good quality with few bubbles. The liquid crystal polyester resin composition includes a liquid crystal polyester and at least one metallic element selected from the group consisting of metallic elements belonging to from Group 8 to Group 11 in Periodic Table. The liquid crystal polyester fiber includes the liquid crystal polyester resin composition. For example, the liquid crystal polyester fiber may have a total amount of carboxy end groups (total CEG amount) of 5.0 mEq/kg or less.
Microneedle Assembly
A microneedle assembly that is capable of transdermal delivery of a drug compound, such as a vaccine, (e.g., vaccine) across a dermal barrier of a subject (e.g., human), and/or detecting the presence of an analyte in the subject is provided. The microneedle assembly comprises a plurality of microneedles arranged on a support that each contain a tip and base, one or both of which are formed from a polymer composition that includes a liquid crystalline polymer. By selectively controlling the specific components of the polymer composition, as well as their relative concentration, the resulting microneedles may exhibit a high degree of physical alignment, which can help ensure better performance during use of the microneedle assembly.

A liquid crystal display device includes an element substrate, a counter substrate, a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the element substrate and the counter substrate, reflective electrodes placed on a surface of the element substrate that is located on the liquid crystal layer side, and a pair of alignment films each of which is placed on a corresponding one of a surface of the element substrate that is located on the liquid crystal layer side and a surface of the counter substrate that is located on the liquid crystal layer side. A liquid crystal composition contained in the liquid crystal layer contains a compound containing an alkoxy group. The alignment films contain a polymer including polyimide. The polyimide is derived from a polyamic acid and contains a side chain represented by Formula (1).
