MODIFIED POLYISOCYANATE
The present invention relates to a modified polyisocyanate and use thereof, in particular as a crosslinking component of water-soluble or water-dispersible coatings. The modified polyisocyanate is obtained by a reaction of a system comprising the following components: at least an aminosulfonic acid; at least a polyisocyanate; at least a tertiary amine; and optionally a polyether alcohol containing an ethylene oxide group. The modified polyisocyanate comprises at least an iminooxadiazinedione structure and at least an isocyanurate structure, the weight ratio of the iminooxadiazinedione structure to the isocyanurate structure being 1:300 to 1:5. The amount of sulfonate group of the modified polyisocyanate is 0.75% by weight to 1.1% by weight, based on the amount of the modified polyisocyanate as 100% by weight. The viscosity thereof is 500 mPa.Math.s to 10000 mPa.Math.s, as determined according to DIN EN ISO 3219:1994-10 at a temperature of 23° C. and a shear rate of 10 s.sup.−1. The coating comprising the modified polyisocyanate of the present invention can be manually stirred well, and the resulting coating layer has high gloss and good transparency.
POLYURETHANE OR POLYURETHANE-UREA COMPOSITIONS WITH REDUCED COLD HARDENING
A polyurethane or polyurethane-urea composition with reduced cold hardening being the reaction product of: a) at least one block copolymer of A-B-A type with an average number molecular weight of 1000 to 5000 g/mol, and being the reaction product of a poly(alkylene oxide) diol and a cyclic lactone or ether, the poly(alkylene oxide) diol being present in the range 30-70 wt % of the block copolymer and the cyclic lactone or ether is present in the range 30-70 wt, and b) at least one diisocyanate, and associated uses of the same.
Vinyl chloride sol-based ultraviolet curable sealing material
Provided is a UV curable sealing material containing a vinyl chloride sol as a main ingredient, the film strength of the sealing material being not reduced even in a thin film, the sealing material thus having high resistant pressure against a hem blister. Provided is a vinyl chloride sol composition containing a vinyl chloride-based resin, a UV curable resin having a polar group (functional group), a blocked isocyanate resin, and a filler, the vinyl chloride sol composition being characterized by containing the UV curable resin having a polar group (functional group) in an amount of 20 to 100 parts by weight, the blocked isocyanate resin in an amount of 10 to 50 parts by weight, and the filler in an amount of 50 to 160 parts by weight, relative to 100 parts by weight of the vinyl chloride-based resin.
Low-water-content hydrophilization agents and use thereof in aqueous dispersions
The present invention relates to compositions comprising a) 20-80% by weight, based on the total mass of constituents of the composition, of at least one sulfonic acid functionalized with at least one hydroxy and/or amino group and/or at least one sulfonic acid derivative functionalized with at least one hydroxy and/or amino group and b) 80-20% by weight, based on the total mass of constituents of the composition, of at least one compound having at least two OH groups, a method for the preparation thereof and use thereof.
Modified polyisocyanate
The present invention relates to a modified polyisocyanate and use thereof, in particular as a crosslinking component of water-soluble or water-dispersible coatings. The amount of sulfonate group of the modified polyisocyanate is 0.75% by weight to 1.1% by weight, based on the amount of the modified polyisocyanate as 100% by weight. Oraganocarbonate-modified prepolymer, its use as a reactant for the preparation of isocyanate-free and isothiocyanate-free alkoxysilane polymers, and compositions thereof
The use of an organocarbonate-modified prepolymer having at least an average of 1.5 carbonate, thiocarbonate, carbamate or thiocarbamate groups bonded directly to the polymer backbone each via an oxygen atom, where each of these oxygen atoms has its origin in the reaction of a primary, secondary or tertiary hydroxyl group of the polymer backbone and a reactive compound selected from the group consisting of a diorganocarbonate, a diorganothiocarbonate, a cyclic carbonate, a cyclic thiocarbonate, an N,N-diheterocyclourea derivative and an N,N-diheterocyclothiourea derivative. Also, the preparation of the alkoxysilane polymers.
DRYING AGENT FOR MOISTURE-CURING COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to a polymer composition that can be produced by (a) reacting an NCO-reactive polymer having exactly one NCO-reactive group per molecule, with a diisocyanate, the molar ratio of the diisocyanate molecule to the NCO-reactive groups of the NCO-reactive polymer being at least 2:1; and (b) reacting the residual NCO groups in the reaction product from step a) with an NCO-reactive silane. The invention also relates to a moisture-reactive composition containing said polymer composition, to methods for producing the polymer composition, and to moisture-reactive compositions containing said polymer composition. Finally, the invention relates to the use of the polymer composition as a drying agent for moisture-curing adhesives, sealants and coating agents.
