20220145185 · 2022-05-12 ·

There is provided a carbonization/oil recovery processing furnace which can be manufactured at a relatively low cost and has less deterioration due to corrosion in association with operation, and can also be maintained and managed at low cost. The carbonization/oil recovery processing furnace is constituted so as to process discarded materials including plastic waste by carbonization and oil recovery with the use of superheated steam which is supplied from the outside, and the carbonization/oil recovery processing furnace is constituted of iron-made external structures and stainless steel-made internal structures which can be separated from the external structures.

BIOMASS STABILIZATION ASSEMBLY FOR MANAGING SOFT CELL ORGANIC MATERIAL
20220118490 · 2022-04-21 ·

A biomass stabilization assembly for managing soft cell organic waste ingredients. Prescribed ingredients are introduced into an inner chamber of a housing, such as through a top hatch, with subsequent unloading of a completed and chemically inert product occurring through a concealed chute and a rear port exhausting H2O gas vapor. The invention includes associated control and processor based components and operates outdoors or indoors of individual facilities and may further incorporate software protocols and algorithms which permit any status monitoring or modification of operational parameters as determined by sensor inputs.

Gasification or Liquefaction of Coal Using a Metal Reactant Alloy Composition

This invention relates to a method and apparatus for gasifying or liquifying coal. In particular, the method comprises reacting a coal with a molten aluminum or aluminum alloy bath. The apparatus includes a reaction vessel for carrying out the reaction, as well as other equipment necessary for capturing and removing the reaction products. Further, the process can be used to cogenerate electricity using the excess heat generated by the process.

Lid assembly for portable biochar kiln

A lid assembly for a portable biochar kiln and system is disclosed. An example of a lid assembly includes a cylindrical sidewall, a rim around the cylindrical sidewall, and a top portion having an opening formed therein. A removable stack is configured to fit over the opening formed in the top portion to direct exhaust from the portable biochar kiln. A gasket cover is interchangeable with the removable stack to fit over the opening formed in the top portion to form a substantially airtight seal over the opening formed in the top portion when a burn is complete in the portable biochar kiln to self-extinguish embers in the portable biochar kiln.

Methods, systems, and devices for liquid hydrocarbon fuel production, hydrocarbon chemical production, and aerosol capture

Methods, systems, and devices for liquid hydrocarbon fuel production, hydrocarbon chemical production, and aerosol capture are provided. For example, a carbon-oxygen-hydrogen (C—O—H) compound may be heated to a temperature of at least 800 degrees Celsius such that the C—O—H compound reacts through a non-oxidation reaction to generate at least a hydrocarbon compound that may be at least a component of a liquid hydrocarbon fuel or a hydrocarbon chemical. The liquid hydrocarbon fuel may be a liquid when at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. The C—O—H compound may include biomass. In some cases, the hydrocarbon compound produced through the non-oxidation reaction includes a hydrocarbon aerosol form as the hydrocarbon compound at least as it is produced or cools. Some embodiments include aerosol capture methods, systems, and devices, which may include passing a hydrocarbon aerosol form through a material in a liquid phase in order to gather the aerosol material.
