Calcium Carbonate Coated Materials and Methods of Making and Using Same
An abrasive composition comprising a substrate selected from the group consisting of a fibrous substrate, a sponge substrate, and combinations thereof and a plurality of calcium carbonate particles dispersed therein; wherein at least a portion of the plurality of calcium carbonate particles contact the substrate; wherein the fibrous substrate comprises a plurality of fibers; wherein each fiber of the plurality of fibers is characterized by an aspect ratio of equal to or greater than about 2:1; wherein the sponge substrate is characterized by a porosity of equal to or greater than about 5 vol. %, based on the total volume of the sponge substrate; and wherein the abrasive composition is characterized by an abrasiveness that is greater than the abrasiveness of the substrate in the absence of the plurality of calcium carbonate particles.

Detergent composition that performs both a cleaning and rinsing function
Industrial 2-in-1 cleaning compositions providing both detergency and rinseability in a single cleaning composition are disclosed. Alkali metal carbonate-based cleaning compositions and methods of both making and using the same provide user-friendly, solid, detergent compositions without the need for using a separate rinse aid composition. The compositions and methods are particularly well suited for use in industrial cleaning using alkali metal carbonate compositions that beneficially provide cleaning and rinseability in the rinse cycle.

A stain removal product formulation and method utilizing a dry, portable product. The dry, portable removal product preferably contains specially treated ingredients, including a composition of microporous silica and alumina tetrahedra and combined with aluminum dioctahedral phyllosilicales family of minerals, ingredients may vary depending on the type of stain to treat, for example, for stains having an oil. grease or fat base. Due to the nature of stains and their varied content the product formulation may also include a combination of other dry ingredients such as clays, minerals, baking soda, com stareh, flour or other dry ingredients. Optional ingredients which may be added including dry coloring and/or dry fragrance components. The dry product formulation is provided in a powder, granule or flake form in moisture resistant packages and kits.
