Modulation of stimulatory and non-stimulatory myeloid cells
Provided herein are methods and compositions for enhancing an immune response and/or for the treatment of an immune-related condition in an individual, e.g., cancer, comprising killing, disabling, or depleting non-stimulatory myeloid cells using an antigen binding protein such as an antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof.
Warmer for promoting a biological reaction
The present invention relates to the use of warmers, or autonomous heat packs, for heating and maintaining a solution at a suitable temperature, for the period of time required to accomplish a chemical, biochemical or biological reaction, in particular in molecular biology or cell biology applications. Biology kits containing warmers are also part of this invention.
Application of transgenic stem cell-derived exosome in preparing medicament or whitening cosmetic
An application of a transgenic stem cell-derived exosome in preparing a medicament or whitening cosmetic is provided. In the present disclosure, miR-27b-3p is transfected into an epidermal stem cell, and a transgenic stem cell-derived exosome is harvested. It is experimentally verified that the exosome can inhibit the expression of PIK3R3 protein in melanocytes and the proliferation and migration of melanocytes; and safety experiments further demonstrate the safety of the exosome. Therefore, corresponding medicaments or cosmetics prepared from the exosome have excellent medicinal and cosmetic application prospects.
PIGMENTATION SKIN MODEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING FACTOR FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING PIGMENTATION OF SKIN
The present invention provides a pigmentation skin model that comprises: a first cell group containing fibroblasts damaged by light irradiation, said first cell group being seeded on a first cell culture substratum; and a second cell group containing melanocytes and keratinocytes, said second cell group being applied onto the first cell group. The present invention also provides a method for producing the pigmentation skin model, and a method for evaluating a factor for treating or preventing pigmentation of the skin, said method comprising using the pigmentation skin model.
MICROPHYSIOLOGICAL CHOROID MODEL
The invention relates to the field of cultivating biological cells and tissues having an organ-like function on a microphysiological scale and provides a microphysiological reproduction of the choroid and the blood-retinal barrier as an in vitro test system.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR THE TREATMENT OF SKIN DEPIGMENTATION
A cellularized patch for treating a scar or skin condition of a subject The cellularized patch and methods of use thereof are advantageous in skin graft procedures performed, for example, to treat a subject having a skin condition comprising skin hypopigmentation or depigmentation, such as vitiligo. In some cases, human melanocytes are cultured ex vivo and seeded onto a transfer patch before being applied to a subject.
TECHNICAL METHOD FOR TREATING VITILIGO THROUGH HAIR FOLLICLE MELANOCYTE STEM CELL TRANSPLANTATION
The present disclosure discloses a technical method for treating vitiligo through hair follicle melanocyte stem cell transplantation. The technical method comprises the following steps: extraction of hair follicles; separation of hair follicles; in-vitro culture of hair follicle melanocyte stem cells; inactivation of hair follicles; and transplantation of hair follicle melanocyte stem cells. According to the present disclosure, outer root sheaths of hair follicles containing the hair follicle melanocyte stem cells are obtained through a precise extraction and separation method. Through in-vitro separation and culture and inactivation of hair follicles, a situation that vitiligo only turns black without hairs after surgery is achieved. Through precise transplantation, the original color of the punctate multi-hair follicle orifice can be restored, thereby achieving the purpose of rapidly removing white patches.
Use of a Warmer For Promoting a Biological Reaction
The present invention relates to the use of warmers, or autonomous heat packs, for heating and maintaining a solution at a suitable temperature, for the period of time required to accomplish a chemical, biochemical or biological reaction, in particular in molecular biology or cell biology applications. Biology kits containing warmers are also part of this invention.
System and substances for cryopreservation of viable cells
An improved cryopreservation process and substances can involve a cellular collection (1) in a cryopreservation fluid (4) that has been conditioned or treated (7) to enhance the cryopreservation process by adding (18) energy (19) such as in the surface energy of a substance in the cryopreservation fluid (4) prior to reducing energy for that same cryopreservation media for freezing. This can offer enhanced-post-cryogenic viability of the cryopreserved structures or a more optimum cooling curve (22) for a specific cell type.
