An air textured yarn (ATY) is disclosed. The ATY includes a first filament having a first cross section, and a second filament disposed adjacent to the first filament having a second cross section, wherein the first cross section has a substantially circular shape and has a degree of modification (M ratio) less than or substantially equal to 1.3, the second cross section has a polygonal shape including 3 to 6 lobes, and a difference between a length of the first filament and a length of the second filament is less than or substantially equal to 4%. Further, a method of manufacturing the ATY is also disclosed.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TEXTURED FILAMENT OR YARN

The present invention relates to a device and to a method for producing a texturized filament or yarn, wherein at least one filament is guided into a draw device, is guided there by a pair of intake rollers towards at least two pairs of drafting system rollers and drawn by the same, downstream of which is disposed a texturizing device with a cooling drum. Downstream the texturizing device with the cooling drum is disposed at least one cooled drafting system roller, by which the filament, respectively the yarn is cooled to a temperature of 0° C. to 50° C.

LAYERED PRODUCT

The invention provides a layered product in which a glass cloth and a fluororesin-containing sheet are firmly bonded to each other even without providing a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene fine particles and without recrystallizing the fluororesin. The layered product includes, in a layered structure, a fluororesin-containing sheet, a hot-melt resin layer, and a glass cloth. The glass cloth is a fabric including a bulked glass yarn.

A METHOD OF DELAYING AND REDUCING TEXTURE REVERSION OF A TEXTURED ARTIFICIAL TURF YARN

The invention provides for a method of delaying and reducing texture reversion of a textured artificial turf yarn (145), characterized by using a stretched and textured monofilament yarn as the textured artificial turf yarn, the stretched and textured monofilament yarn comprising a polymer mixture (400, 500), wherein the polymer mixture is at least a three-phase system, wherein the polymer mixture comprises a first polymer (402), a second polymer (404), and a compatibilizer (406), wherein the first polymer and the second polymer are immiscible, wherein the first polymer forms polymer beads (408) surrounded by the compatibilizer within the second polymer.

Air-jet type spinning device

An air-jet type spinning device (4), comprising a body (8) at least partially hollow which defines a spinning chamber (12), a fibre feed device (16), facing said spinning chamber (12) so as to feed the fibres into the spinning chamber (12), a spinning spindle (20) at least partially inserted in the spinning chamber (12) and fitted with a spinning channel (24) for the suction of yarn obtained from said fibres, the spinning channel (24) defining a spinning direction (X-X), at least one channel (28) for sending a jet of compressed air inside the spinning chamber (12). Advantageously, the spinning chamber (12) is delimited at least partially by an outer side wall (32), opposite the spinning spindle (20), wherein at least one thread (36) is made on said outer side wall (32), wherein said at least one channel (28) is oriented so as to direct the jet of compressed air towards the at least one thread (36) in order to be guided and oriented by the latter.

A method includes drawing a roving thread from a roving bobbin through a roving guide, an aft drafting roller, and a mid drafting roller to a front drafting roller, and drawing a spandex core from a spandex bobbin using a guide roller. The method also includes associating the roving thread and the spandex core by drawing the roving thread and the spandex core in an approximately parallel fashion through the front drafting roller, and drawing the associated roving thread and the spandex core through a lappet hook and an anti-ballooning guide. Further, the method includes winding the drawn associated roving thread and the spandex core on a ring-frame bobbin including a ring traveler attached to a rotatable ring. The circular motion of the ring traveler around the ring-frame bobbin causes the drawn associated roving thread to twist around the drawn associated spandex core, forming a core spun yarn.

It is provided a fabric comprises a yarn that is bi-component yarn air texturized with a mechanical stretched synthetic polymer yarn and a high moisture regain yarn with greater fiber weight per filament than the bi-component yarn. The weft yarns are interwoven with the warp yarns such that the woven fabric defines a face side and a back side opposite to the face side. The high moisture regain yarn is inserted such that it generates plurality of long high moisture regain yarn floats such that a majority of the long high moisture regain yarn floats are on the back side of the woven fabric. The high moisture regain yarn can be inserted in weft or in warp direction or can alternate or at different intervals such that the longer floats are on the backside for more exposure to the skin.
