Plastic mesh having double chains, and device for producing a plastic mesh

The invention relates to a plastic mesh having a plurality of chains extending parallel to one another in a longitudinal direction, which plastic mesh has a plurality of groups of chains (2) adjacent to one another, which are in each case formed of at least two chains (2a, 2b). The groups of chains (2) have a greater spacing relative to one another or also relative to a further individual chain (1) than the chains (2a, 2b) within a group of chains (2). A thread (3) runs in a zigzag between two adjacent groups of chains (2) or also between one group of chains (2) and an individual chain (1) and connects the chains (1) or groups of chains (2).

WARP KNITTING MACHINE, WARP KNITTED FABRIC MANUFACTURING METHOD AND WARP KNITTED FABRIC

Provided is a warp knitting machine capable of irregularities conforming to a pattern in a warp knitted fabric.

The warp knitting machine according to an embodiment is a double raschel machine, and includes at least one guide bar GB5 between a pair of jacquard bars at a front side (JB3, JB4), and a pair of jacquard bars at a back side (JB6, JB7).

Warp Knit Fabrics with Variable Path Weft Strands

An item may include fabric or other materials formed from intertwined strands of material. The strands of material may include non-conductive strands and conductive strands. The strands may be intertwined by a warp knitting machine to produce a warp knit fabric. The warp knit fabric may include intertwined warp strands and weft insertion strands that are inserted amongst the warp strands. The weft insertion strands may extend across less than all of the warp strands. The weft insertion strands may include parallel segments that each extend across a different portion of the warp strands. The segments of weft insertion strands may have different widths relative to one another and relative to the width of the fabric. The weft insertion strands may be inserted into the warp knitting machine across the warp strands using a weft insertion device that is positioned by a computer-controlled positioner.

A method, an elongating device, a Raschel knitting machine comprising the elongating device for producing nets with elongated stitches and a net comprising elongated stitches is described. The method comprises the steps of continuously generating new loops for elongating the two rows of loops by additional loops and dragging the rows of loops in a machine direction, generating a first stitch of the weft by joining the weft to a loop of the first row and to a loop of the second row, and positioning the first stitch across a surface of an elongating device for preventing the first stitch from traveling with the warps knitted to loops in the machine direction. The joining is configured for elongating the first stitch by pulling additional weft material, and the surface of the elongating device is carrying out a reciprocating movement towards the first stitch. Further, an elongating device for elongating of the stitches is described.
