Washing drying machine having heat pump and drying operation control method thereof
Provided are a washing drying machine having a heat pump, and a drying operation control method thereof. The washing drying machine having a heat pump includes a cabinet; a tub provided in the cabinet; a drum rotatably provided in the tub; a circulation passage configured to connect a first portion of the tub to a second portion of the tub; a circulation fan provided at the circulation passage and configured to circulate air through the circulation passage and the tub; the heat pump having a compressor that compresses a refrigerant and a heat exchanger that exchanges heat with the air of the circulation passage and the refrigerant; a heater configured to heat an inside of the tub; and a controller configured to control the heater to be supplied with power in order to heat the inside of the tub before the compressor is operated during a drying course.
WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed herein is a washing machine and a control method thereof, and more particularly, to a technology capable of controlling washing modes in various manners by manipulating a control panel of the washing machine. The washing machine includes a display configured to display a washing mode, an inputter configured to receive a washing mode select command, a storage configured to store a selected washing mode, and a controller configured to allow a washing mode, which has the largest number of times selected during a predetermined number of times of washings, to be displayed on a first screen of the display, and in response to the number of the washing mode having the largest number of selection times being plural, configured to allow a washing mode, which is the last selected among the plurality of washing modes, to be displayed on the first screen of the display.
METHOD FOR SCHEDULING AND EXECUTING A WARMUP CYCLE IN A DRYER APPLIANCE
A dryer appliance and a method of operating the dryer for a warming operation is provided. The dryer appliance includes an air handler to urge the flow of air through a chamber rotatably mounted in a cabinet and a heating assembly for heating the flow of air. A controller controls the heating assembly and the air handler to initiate a warming operation for an article in the chamber. The warming operation includes receiving input parameters for a warming operation and determining a duration of the warming operation from the input parameters. Based on the input parameters and duration of the warming operation a start time is determined and the warming operation is initiated at the determined start time.
CLOTHES DRYER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A clothes dryer is disclosed. The clothes dryer includes a rotatably disposed drum, a heat pump system including a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant and a condenser configured to condense the refrigerant, a heater configured to heat air supplied to the interior of the drum, a first temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of air passing through the interior of the drum, a second temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the compressor, and a processor configured to control an operation of the compressor on the basis of the temperature of the air passing through the interior of the drum detected by the first temperature sensor and control an operation of the heater on the basis of the temperature of the compressor detected by the second temperature sensor.
Control method of clothes treatment apparatus
A control method of a clothes treatment apparatus including a cabinet, a steam unit that is located in the cycle chamber and that is configured to supply steam to the treatment chamber, a water supply tank, a water supply pump, and a lower rack. The control method includes sensing a water level in the water supply tank. The control method further includes, based on sensing the water level in the water supply tank, determining that the water level in the water supply tank is below a first particular water level. The control method further includes, in response to determining that the water level in the water supply tank is below the first particular water level, moving residual water stored in the receiving space to the steam unit by operating the water supply pump.
Autonomously dry-cleaning a garment within a kiosk
One variation of a method for autonomously processing a garment within a kiosk includes: accessing a set of garment characteristics of the garment, the set of garment characteristics including a garment type and a fabric type; based on the set of garment characteristics, selecting a target processing temperature, a target processing humidity, and a set of steam-processing parameters including a steam nozzle path and a steam nozzle speed. This variation of the method also includes: heating air within the kiosk toward the target processing temperature; injecting steam into the kiosk to drive humidity within the chamber toward the target processing humidity; articulating a steam nozzle along the steam nozzle path at the steam nozzle speed to impinge a steam jet across an interior surface of the garment, tension local areas of the garment against the steam jet, and heat local areas of the garment above the transition temperature.
