Method and device for monitoring supply

A method is provided for monitoring a supply of a cleaning agent. The method includes performing a check of whether the supply of the cleaning agent is likely to be used up. The check is based, at least in part, on quantity information which is representative of an amount of the cleaning agent in a user's supply and on consumption information which is indicative of the user's expected consumption behavior with respect to the cleaning agent. Further, a device is provided for performing the method for monitoring the supply of the cleaning agent.

LAUNDRY APPLIANCE HAVING A FINE-PARTICLE FILTER FOR SEPARATING MICROFIBERS FROM PROCESS FLUIDS
20230055113 · 2023-02-23 · ·

A laundry appliance includes a tub positioned within an outer cabinet. A drum is rotationally operable within the tub. A fluid pump directs a process fluid through a fluid path that includes the tub. A fine-particle filter is positioned within the fluid path. The fine-particle filter separates microfibers from the process fluid to define captured microfibers.

LAUNDRY MACHINE APPARATUS INCLUDING WATER DETECTION AND METHOD OF OPERATING A LAUNDRY MACHINE

A method of operating a laundry machine apparatus includes determining that an amount of water above a predetermined amount is present within a tub, setting a limited rotational velocity of the drum, and determining a laundry load characteristic in order to rotate the drum at a standard rotational velocity above the limited rotational velocity.

Method for real time determination during loading of volumetric load size in a laundry treating appliance

A method of operating and a laundry treating appliance, including a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber into which laundry may be placed for treatment according to a cycle of operation, a processor programmed to at least as the laundry is being placed in the treating chamber, at least one of measure, sense, analytically determine, estimate, or receive as an input used to determined a load size. A laundry fill indicator indicates information related to the determined load size.

Controlling water levels and detergent concentration in a wash cycle

Systems, apparatuses and methods for controlling the various phases and in particular in a wash cycle of a wash machine are provided. In particular, the present application relates to controlling the water levels and detergent composition concentrations in order to reduce the amount of water and composition required to provide improved soil removal. The systems, apparatuses and methods provided allow for the use of less water and lower quantities of more concentrated detergent compositions which are customized to the types of soil to be removed.

CLEANING SEQUENCE FOR AN APPLIANCE

A cleaning method includes sensing at least one trigger, where the at least one trigger is chosen from sensing a presence of a first liquid within a wash compartment of an appliance with a liquid sensor and sensing an elapsed time from activation of a faucet of the appliance with a timer. The cleaning method also includes draining the first liquid from the wash compartment of the appliance. Additionally, the cleaning method includes rinsing the wash compartment with a second liquid. The draining of the first liquid from the wash compartment of the appliance and the rinsing of the wash compartment with a second liquid are both performed prior to initiating a wash cycle of the appliance.
