Garment processing device and method for controlling same
Disclosed is a method of controlling a laundry treating apparatus comprising a tub configured to hold wash water, a drum mounted in the tub, a pulsator mounted in the drum, a sub-drum coupled to the drum, the sub-drum being configured to hold wash water, and a drive unit configured to rotate the drum and the pulsator. The method comprises a water current forming step comprising performing a basket motion and a pulsate motion and a cooling step comprising lowering the temperature of the drive unit. The basket motion is configured to form water current in the wash water held in the tub and in the sub-drum simultaneously. The pulsate motion is configured to form water current in wash water held in the drum while the pulsator is driven. A performance timing of the cooling step is preset in at least one of the wash cycle or the rinse cycle.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCE, SYSTEM COMPRISING A DOMESTIC APPLICANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A household appliance includes a control device configured to carry out a treatment program from a plurality of treatment programs, with each of the plurality of treatment programs being determined by a plurality of program parameters, an output unit configured to output a feedback survey in accordance with a feedback cycle to a user of the household appliance, and an adjustment unit configured to adjust the feedback cycle depending on a user feedback detected by an input means.
DRYING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A drying apparatus including a drying unit and a processor configured to control an operation of the drying unit. The processor is configured to, based on a drying request being received, identify whether the drying request is an initial drying command for a material to be dried or an additional drying request for the material to be dried, and based on the drying request being identified as the additional drying command, control the drying unit to perform an additional drying operation for the material to be dried based on a drying operation method corresponding to a previous drying command for the material to be dried.
Clothes treatment apparatus
A clothes treatment apparatus comprises: a cabinet forming a treatment space for storing clothes; a filter module having a filter portion for filtering out dust from air passing therethrough; an air flow path having a plurality of preset flow paths for directing air to be discharged into the treatment space; a fan for moving the air in the air flow path; at least one valve disposed on the air flow path; a valve actuating module for actuating the valve; and a control part for controlling the valve actuating module so as to select one of the plurality of flow paths. The plurality of flow paths comprise: at least one bypass flow path for directing the air to bypass the filter portion; and at least one filtering flow path for directing the air to pass through the filter portion.
Clothes treatment apparatus
A clothes treatment apparatus comprises: a cabinet forming a treatment space for storing clothes; a filter module having a filter portion for filtering out dust from air; an air flow path having a plurality of preset flow paths for directing air to be discharged into the treatment space; a fan for moving the air in the air flow path; a single valve disposed on the air flow path, that changes the air flow path by rotating around a predetermined rotational axis; a valve actuating module for rotating the valve; and a control part for controlling the angle of rotation of the valve to select one of the plurality of flow paths. The plurality of flow paths comprise: at least one bypass flow path for directing the air to bypass the filter portion; and at least one filtering flow path for directing the air to pass through the filter portion.
PREDICTION METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM, PREDICTION SYSTEM, SERVER, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A prediction method includes acquisition step, prediction step, determination step, and processing step. In acquisition step, parameters for a drying operation are acquired. In prediction step, based on the acquired parameters, a drying time required for the drying operation is predicted by a first prediction method. In determination step, when the restart of the drying operation is detected while the drying operation is stopped, whether the first prediction method performed in prediction step is applicable is determined. In processing step, when the first prediction method is determined to be applicable, the first prediction method is continued and when the first prediction method is determined not to be applicable, predetermined processing is performed.
OPERATION ANALYSIS METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM, OPERATION ANALYSIS SYSTEM, AND PRESENTATION DEVICE
An operation analysis method includes a first acquisition step, a second acquisition step, a plan designing step, and an analysis step. In the first acquisition step, the operation history of a washer is acquired. In the second acquisition step, at least the action schedule of a user of the washer is acquired. In the plan designing step, based on the operation history acquired in the first acquisition step, an operation plan for the future regarding the normal operation of the washer periodically performed by the user is designed. In the analysis step, based on the action schedule acquired in the second acquisition step, whether the operation of the washer is the normal operation is analyzed. In the plan designing step, the operation plan is updated based on the result of the analysis in analysis step.
DEFAULT EXTENDED TUMBLE ACTIVATION IN DRYER APPLIANCES
A method for operating a dryer appliance includes, after drying articles within the dryer appliance, receiving data corresponding to an activation signal for an extended tumble from a remote user device, tracking a number of cycles for which the extended tumble is not a default setting for the dryer appliance, and automatically adjusting the extended tumble to the default setting for the dryer appliance or transmitting data corresponding to an extended tumble alert based on the tracked number of cycles.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING HOME APPLIANCE WATER USE
A water use management system may be installed in a setting that contains a primary infrastructure for water use to provide an alternate, modular infrastructure for water use. Fresh water used at various points of use, such as a shower or sink, may be diverted into the modular infrastructure prior to draining into the primary infrastructure. Once diverted, the precedent use water is received at a reservoir system where it is treated for a subsequent use. Treatment may include filtration and/or chemical treatment, and may be based upon sensor feedback from the reservoir system. Once treated, the water is ready for subsequent use and may flow from the reservoir system, via the modular infrastructure, to a subsequent point of use, such as a toilet.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus including a drum holding a washing object, a drive unit rotating the drum, a drive controller, a display unit with an input unit accepting drive unit control orders, and a display communicating treating progress of the washing object. The display unit having a controller with an input data processing unit, an output data processing unit, and a processing unit control program for running the input and output data processing units. The laundry treating apparatus further including a system managing unit enabling the drive controller and display unit to exchange data with the display unit controller, ordering operation of the display unit, and running the processing unit control program, a list storage unit storing a program list the display unit controller runs, and a monitoring unit for initializing the system managing unit if the processing unit control program is not at the list storage unit.
