AUTONOMOUS LAUNDRY HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
An energy efficient autonomous laundry system includes a plurality of combination washing and drying machines each one of which includes heated and cold side heat exchangers disposed in series within a dedicated closed air loop at each machine, a heat pump providing separate streams of heated and cooled fluid to the heat exchangers, one or more sensors disposed in the closed air loop, and a controller in operative communication with all of these system components. The controller is configured to receive an output signal of one or more air sensors in the closed air loop, analyze the output signal, determine, based on the analysis, whether the at least one air characteristic is within a range of values for at least one of air temperature, air flow, and air humidity, and adjust one or more controls, including controls for adjusting at least one of air temperature, air flow, and air humidity.
Control method for clothing treatment apparatus
A control method for a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus includes an air washing device for performing air washing on clothing. The control method includes: obtaining the material of clothing; obtaining the type of a clothing detergent; obtaining the type of a stain on the clothing; and determining a parametric range of air washing according to the material of the clothing, the type of the clothing detergent, and the type of the stain on the clothing. The embodiments allow clothing to be subjected to air washing treatment within an optical parametric range, i.e., a detergent can exert an activation function to the greatest extent, and also allows a stain to be removed and cleaned within the most suitable parametric range to improve the clothing decontamination capability, thereby improving a clothing treatment effect and improving user experience.
CONTROLLED MOISTURE REMOVAL IN A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
A method of operating a laundry treating appliance for treating laundry according to a treating cycle of operation. The laundry treating appliance comprises a treating chamber for receiving the laundry that is selectively accessible through a door movable between opened and closed positions. The method comprises determining at the end of a laundry treating cycle whether the door has been opened and subsequently reclosed and reducing humidity in the treating chamber after the determination that the door has been reclosed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOWERING HUMIDITY WITHIN A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE
A washing machine appliance includes a wash tub defining a wash chamber and a door assembly for providing selective access to the wash chamber. The door assembly includes an inner door panel defining an inner aperture, an outer door panel defining an outer aperture, and a duct extending therebetween to permit a flow of air into the wash chamber to lower the humidity and reduce the likelihood of mold, mildew, and/or foul odors within the washing machine appliance.
APPARATUS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A method for controlling a laundry treating apparatus includes an air supplying step of supplying heated air to the drum through the heat exchange part and a first motion executing step executed while the air supplying step is in progress. The first motion executing step alternately executes a first acceleration mode of rotating the drum at an rpm inducing a centrifugal force equal to or greater than 1G along one of a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction and a first deceleration mode of rotating the drum at an rpm inducing a centrifugal force smaller than 1G in a direction equal to a rotational direction set for the first acceleration mode.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE HAVING SENSORS, AND METHODS OF OPERATION
A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry according to an automatic cycle of operation includes a cabinet defining a cabinet interior. A drum is rotatable within the cabinet interior, and at least partially defines a treating chamber. The treating chamber has a treating chamber air inlet and a treating chamber air outlet. A drying air circuit is fluidly coupled to the treating chamber air inlet and to the treating chamber air outlet. The laundry treating appliance can include first and second air temperature sensors, at least a first humidity sensor, and a controller operably coupled with the sensors.
CLOTHES TREATING APPARATUS
A clothes treating apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a hanger on which clothes are hung and a blower unit having an air vent for blowing wind toward the clothes hung on the hanger. The hanger includes a supporter connected to the air vent of the blower unit, wherein a wind receiving space is formed inside the supporter, and a shoulder supporter extending from the supporter and forming a wind discharging space connected to the wind receiving space, wherein shoulder portions of the clothes are hung on the shoulder supporter. The wind discharging space includes a body wind path formed to blow wind toward a body portion of the clothes, and sleeve wind paths formed to blow wind toward sleeves of the clothes and diverging at an entrance of the body wind path. The body wind path includes an enlarged wind path portion which is formed at an exit of the body wind path and of which a wind path is enlarged downstream.

CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A clothes care apparatus includes a chamber, a first damper, a second damper, a heat exchanger, at least one blower fan, a sensor portion, and a controller. The first damper is configured to control an airflow from inside the chamber to outside the chamber. The second damper is configured to control the airflow into the chamber from the outside. The heat exchanger is provided with a compressor and configured to exchange heat with air in the chamber. The at least one blower fan is configured to generate the airflow The sensor portion is configured to obtain a temperature and humidity inside and outside of the chamber. The controller is configured to start a drying cycle, control the first and second damper to be opened or closed, and control the heat exchanger and the at least one blower fan by comparing the internal humidity with the external humidity.
