IONIC OXIDATION REFRESHING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An ionic oxidation refreshing system for refreshing odorized items, comprising an enclosure to contact the odorized items; an ionizing stage mechanism that produces an ionized ozone gas mixture inside of the enclosure, killing germs, including odor-causing bacteria, viruses, molds, and fungus; and a filtering stage mechanism that neutralizes and filters out any toxic by-products including one or more of ozone, nitric acid, aldehydes, and VOCs resulting from surface oxidation of the odorized items by the ionized ozone gas mixture.
BUTTON TRAP AND SIEVE FOR A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a wash tub disposed within a cabinet. A rotating drum is disposed within the wash tub. A drain system directs a fluid from the wash tub to a fluid pump. A trap is disposed within a tub drain of the wash tub. The trap includes an elongated body having a plurality of fingers that extend across an aperture defined within the elongated body. The plurality of fingers are configured to permit passage of particulate material and prevent passage of foreign objects through the elongated body.
REUSABLE FILTER CANISTER FOR A DRY-CLEANING MACHINE
A novel filter canister configured to dock into a dry-cleaning machine incorporates unique structural elements that reduce or eliminate debris overfill and jamming of the filter canister after an extended dry-cleaning operation. In particular, a novel perforated hollow inner core, a vertical strut-based canister docking frame, a washable and reusable cartridge with a perforated rigid inner surface layer and a particulate filtering element-encapsulating outer surface layer, and a removable lid that secures or frees the washable and reusable cartridge that constitute the novel filter canister enable a dry-cleaning operator to install, clean, and reuse the washable and reusable cartridge conveniently for numerous dry-cleaning cycles while avoiding debris overfill, canister jamming, and frequent filter canister replacement and repurchase needs that are endemic in conventional dry cleaner filter designs that tend to be cumbersome, costly, and environmentally detrimental.
Water purifying module self-cleaning method and washing machine using same
Disclosed are a water purifying module self-cleaning method and a washing machine using the method. The water purifying module self-cleaning method comprises: starting a water purifying module self-cleaning program to feed water into a washing machine to reach a preset level; and repeating a heating rinsing program and a clear water replacement rinsing program in sequence until detecting that the water purifying module is clean, wherein the heating rinsing program comprises a washing water heating step, a membrane rinsing step, a standing step and a membrane air washing step. The water purifying module self-cleaning method can peel off impurities, macromolecular particles and the like from the surface of a filter system (5) of a water purifying module, thus ensuring the water purifying effect of the water purifying module and effectively prolonging the service life of the water purifying module.
Dry-cleaning solvent filter apparatus for environmentally-friendly reuse and method of operating thereof
A commercial dry-cleaning solvent filter apparatus is configured to filter and decontaminate a used dry-cleaning solvent in a specialized multi-level filtration container to enable environmentally-friendly reuse of the used dry-cleaning solvent in a commercial dry-cleaning machine after a novel decontamination process. The commercial dry-cleaning solvent filter apparatus incorporates multi-level gravity feed filtration chambers filled with a unique multi-metallic and multi-chemical filtration clay agent in multiple stages for comprehensive decontamination of the used dry-cleaning solvent. The filtered and decontaminated used dry-cleaning solvent is reusable and can be pumped back into a dry-cleaning solvent tank internal to the commercial dry-cleaning machine. The reuse of the dry-cleaning solvent reduces the need for frequent solvent replacements. The movement of the used dry-cleaning solvent into or out of the commercial dry-cleaning machine and the commercial dry-cleaning solvent filter apparatus is further assisted by a motorized pump mobilizing the used dry-cleaning solvent.
