A method for producing a woven personal respirator mask includes providing a plurality of warp ends into an electronic woven label loom, programming the loom to weave the warp ends into a sheet having a repeating mask pattern in the weave direction, the mask pattern comprising an edge border having a tight weave and defining therein a filter section, the filter section having a tubular weave to define an outer layer and an inner layer, at least one of the outer layer and an inner layers comprising a filter weave, and at least one intermediate interlock fastening at least a point of the outer layer to an opposing point on the inner layer, and cutting the sheet to separate the repeating mask pattern into individual mask parts with a hot-wire slitter.

Adhesive tape and apparatus for making same

The invention relates to a device for producing an adhesive tape (2), comprising a supply unit (5) for supplying a strip-type textile carrier (3) of the adhesive tape (2), and a coating unit (6) for applying an at least lamellar adhesive coating (4) to at least one side of the carrier (3). The invention also relates to an ultrasound unit (9 and 10) and/or a laser unit for producing perforations and/or cut edges in the carrier (3).

APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING SUPERFINE FIBER ROLL WIPER FOR CLEANROOM
20200255997 · 2020-08-13 · ·

The present disclosure provides an apparatus for manufacturing a superfine fiber roll wiper for a cleanroom, wherein a thermal cutting unit including thermal cutting blocks and thermal cutters is applied to a thermal cutting part, such that a process of manufacturing a roll wiper and a process of thermally bonding both ends of the manufactured roll wiper may be performed by the single apparatus, as a result of which, with the use of the single apparatus, it is possible to considerably improve workability, implement the mass-production, and reduce manufacturing costs. Further, the thermal cutting unit further including interval adjustment blocks in addition to the thermal cutting blocks and the thermal cutters is applied, such that a width of a roll wiper to be manufactured may be selectively and conveniently adjusted when a change in width of the roll wiper is required.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR END-TO-END ARTICLE MANAGEMENT

Systems and methods are described for managing articles. The systems and methods described herein may comprise an example method for manufacturing an article. The systems and methods provides an end-to-end manufacturing value chain as a closed system and feedback loop.

Method for assembling textile adhesive tapes

A method for assembling cable wrapping tapes. From an adhesive tape parent roll, strip-like adhesive tapes (11), each having two cut edges (12a) on the sides, are produced from a textile material which has an adhesive coating (12) on one side, by cutting in the drawing direction of the parent roll. The cutting is performed using an ultrasound-excited cutting tool (1) and wherein the cutting is performed using a cooled cutting tool (1). An adhesive tape (11), having a strip-like textile carrier material (13) and an adhesive coating (12) applied to one side and two cut edges (12a) on the sides. The cut edges (12a) are created by ultrasound cutting, and the textile carrier material (13) of the carrier is fused to its cut edges (12a). No adhesive coating (12) exists on the cut edges (12a); which are free of lint and threads.

RIBBON CUTTING AND SEALING APPARATUS

A cutting apparatus configured to hold an elongate element, such as a ribbon, in a desired orientation as the elongate element is cut into two sections. A cutting element of such a cutting apparatus may be confined to a single orientation relative to that of the elongate element, reducing or eliminating the likelihood of misalignment between the cutting element and the elongate element immediately before the elongate element is cut. In some embodiments, the cutting apparatus, or even its cutting element, may be configured to seal the newly cut ends of the elongate element. Methods for cutting and or sealing elongate elements, such as ribbons, are also disclosed.

AN INSECT NET LAMELLA AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

Described is an insect net strip produced from a wide insect net which has been cut in a warp direction (xnet) by means of a one-step ultrasonic cutting and welding process. The insect net strip includes warp yarns and weft yarns extending substantially perpendicular to each other and at least 90% of the warp and weft yarns are monofilament yarns made of a thermoplastic material. After cutting and welding process the insect net strip has a first and a second edge extending parallel to said warp yarns each including a deformation zone being constituted by consolidated thermoplastic material deriving at least from said weft yarns. The deformation zone has a width (wdz) in the transverse direction (ystrip) of between 0.5-35 times the weft yarn diameter (?we). At least 90% of gaps between adjacent weft yarns in the deformation zone are closed by consolidated thermoplastic material at least from the weft yarns which has been melted together to form a continuous or substantially continuous reinforced band-shaped edge portion of said insect net strip. The insect net strip is suitable for use in accordion-style constructions in greenhouse ventilation openings. A method for producing the insect strips is also described.
