A phosphonium-containing polyurethane composition can include an aqueous liquid vehicle including water, organic co-solvent, and surfactant, and polyurethane particles including a polyurethane polymer with a polyurethane backbone. The polyurethane polymer can have pendant side chain groups along the polyurethane backbone as well as end cap groups terminating the polyurethane polymer. The pendant side chain groups and the end cap groups can collectively include aliphatic phosphonium salts and polyalkylene oxides.

INK COMPOSITIONS WITH POLYURETHANE BINDER

The present disclosure describes ink compositions having a polyurethane binder that can be used for textile printing. In one example, an ink composition can include water, an organic co-solvent, a colorant, and a polyurethane binder. The polyurethane binder can include pre-polymer segments that include polymerized monomers of a diisocyanate, a graft diol, a polymeric diol, and an acid-containing diol. The graft diol can include thioglycerol having a polymer sidechain replacing a hydrogen atom on a sulfur atom of the thioglycerol. The polymer sidechain can include a polymerized monomer of an acrylate ester, a methacrylate ester, a styrene, or a combination thereof. The polyurethane binder can also include chain extenders connecting the pre-polymer segments. The chain extenders can include a polymerized sulfonate-containing diamine.

The first treatment liquid is the above-described inkjet textile printing treatment liquid. An inkjet textile printing method incudes: inkjetting an ink toward an image formation area of a textile printing target; and inkjetting a first treatment liquid toward at least the image formation area of the textile printing target. The first treatment liquid is the above-described inkjet textile printing treatment liquid.

A thermal camouflage garment containing at least two zones, each zone containing a thermal camouflage fabric. The camouflage fabrics each contain a printed layer. In at least 90% of the wavelengths between 400-700 nm at least one of the first, second, and third color deltas are less than about 10 percentage points, and wherein at 1 μm and 2 μm and the average over 3-5 μm, average over 8-12 μm the first, at least one of the first, second, and third color deltas are greater than about 15 percentage points. The first zone makes up at least about 10% of the outer surface area of the thermal camouflage garment and the second zone makes up at least about 10% of the outer surface area of the thermal camouflage garment.

The diol can include to terminal 6-hydroxyhexanoate groups linked by an organic linking group. Chain extenders can connect the prepolymer segments. The chain extenders can include a polymerized diamine.

As a means for achieving the object, a white inkjet ink composition for textile printing is provided that contains a white pigment, a water-dispersible urethane resin having reactivity to cationic compounds, a crosslinking agent, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water; wherein the crosslinking agent is contained by 0.02 to 0.15 parts by mass relative to 1 part by mass of the water-dispersible urethane resin, and as the water-soluble organic solvent, a glycol ether that dissolves by 1 to 60 g in 100 g of water is contained.
