The present disclosure relates to a current collector formed of nanofiber, which includes PEDOT:PSS and a conductive dopant, a lithium secondary battery electrode including the current collector, and a lithium secondary battery, and the current collector of the present disclosure is characterized in that excellent structural stability, mechanical properties, and electrical conductivity may be achieved by doping nanofiber prepared through electro-spinning with a conductive dopant. The present disclosure was created with the support for a sub-director enterprise support project from Chungbuk Innovation Institute of Science & Technology.

A FABRIC IMPREGNATED WITH ORGANOSILANE FOR PURIFICATION OF LIQUIDS

The present invention relates to a fabric for purification of water. An object of the present invention is to provide a fabric for purification of liquids which achieves at least 2 log reductions of bacteria, and viruses. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a fabric for purification of liquids which provides high flow rates in gravity fed water purification systems. The present inventors have surprisingly found that a fabric having a matrix of polymer impregnated with organosilane superimposed on a surface of the fibre of a fibrous support not only provides reduction of viruses from a liquid to be purified at low pressure drops but also removes bacteria without using a separate microfiltration membrane and also retains high flow rates.

One-step chitosan fiber spinning device

The present disclosure discloses a one-step chitosan fiber spinning device, including a stand; a stock solution tank, a coagulating bath, a plasticizing stretch bath, a water washing basin, a drying mechanism and a winding mechanism; a front end of a water conveying pipe is fixed on an inner wall of a front end of the water washing basin; a bearing at a front end of a mounting sleeve is mounted on the inner wall of the front end of the water washing basin; activity slots are formed in outer ends of mounting plates; a control head is fixed at an outer end of a control head seat; one end of a two-shaft motor is connected with a gear; a water tank is mounted at a top of a rear end of the water conveying pipe.

Multi-level-architecture multifiber composite yarn

A multi-level-architecture multi-fiber composite yarn includes a composite yarn having a first anisotropic expansion coefficient in an axial and/or radial direction, and a matrix material included with the yarn, wherein the matrix material has a second anisotropic expansion coefficient that is different from the first anisotropic expansion coefficient in at least one of the axial or radial directions. A method of fabricating a multi-level-architecture multi-fiber composite yarn includes infiltrating a composite yarn having a first anisotropic expansion coefficient in an axial and/or radial directions with a matrix material having a second anisotropic expansion coefficient different from the first anisotropic expansion coefficient in the axial or radial direction.

Nonwoven glucan webs

Nonwoven webs comprising a water insoluble α-(1,3.fwdarw.glucan) polymer and methods of forming the nonwoven webs are disclosed. The water insoluble α-(1,3.fwdarw.glucan) polymer comprises 90% or greater α-1,3-glycosidic linkages, less than 1% by weight of α-1,3,6-glycosidic branch points, a number average degree of polymerization in the range of from 55 to 10,000, and a ratio of apparent DPw to true DPw in the range of from 2 to 10. The nonwoven webs can be used for personal hygiene wipes, filtration media, apparel, or other uses.

Flexible color-changing fibers and fabrics

A color-changing flexible fiber that can be incorporated into fabrics and other woven materials. The color changing flexible fibers are hollow and include at least two wire electrodes integrated into the wall of the hollow fiber that provide an electrical potential across an electro-optic medium disposed inside the hollow fiber. The electro-optic medium includes a non-polar solvent and at least one set of charged particles.

DEVICE FOR MEASURING BIOSIGNALS OF ELECTRICAL STIMULATION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

An embodiment of the present invention provides a device for measuring biosignals and electrical stimulation. The device for measuring biosignals and electrical stimulation includes a conductive composite including a self-healing polymer and liquid metal and exhibits low mechanical properties, excellent stress-relieving characteristics, and maintains conductivity.
