Tamper Cart System
A tamper cart system for transporting a mechanical tamper includes a mechanical tamper. The mechanical tamper has a handle, a body and a compression plate. A cart is provided and the cart is rolled along a support surface. The mechanical tamper is selectively positioned on the cart. Thus, the mechanical tamper is transportable by an individual. A handle is movably coupled to the cart.
MANUAL PACKER FOR PACKING THE BALLAST OF A TRACK
A hand tamper for tamping ballast of a track includes a drive motor for rotation of an imbalance or unbalanced weight and a barrel tip which is approximately V-shaped in longitudinal section and is fastened to a lower end of a barrel connected to the drive motor. A plurality of barrel fins extending in a longitudinal direction of the barrel are disposed on a lower barrel section adjoining the barrel tip. The barrel fins are spaced from one another relative to a barrel cross-section, extend radially from a barrel surface and are elongated into the barrel tip.

Hand-held tamping machine for compacting track ballast
A hand-held tamping machine for compacting track ballast has a tamping pick for penetrating the track ballast, a vibration generator for vibration excitation of the tamping pick, a motor connected with the vibration generator via a drive shaft, and a handle assembly with at least one handle for steering the hand-held tamping machine during operation. Along a shaft axis of the drive shaft the at least one handle is arranged above the machine center of gravity of the hand-held tamping machine by at least 30% of the overall height of the hand-held tamping machine and/or is arranged above the motor center of gravity of the motor by at least 15% of the overall height of the hand-held tamping machine.
