Patio blocks and block systems with side surface positioning and retaining structures
A landscaping block having a block body with at least a first side surface, a second side surface, a third side surface and a fourth side surface, and opposed and substantially parallel top and bottom surfaces. The patio block having at least one spacer projection extending outwardly from each of the at least first, second, third and fourth side surfaces. The patio block having at least one spacer locator positioned along each one of the first, second, third and fourth side surfaces. The at least one spacer locator positioned along each side surface has a retaining surface shaped to receive a spacer projection, at least a portion of the retaining surface extending outwardly from the side surface.
Drainage blocks for dikes or urban settings
A drainage block for dikes or urban settings and for use as a road pavement is provided with drainage and water buffering properties. The drainage blocks may be used in urban areas as pavement, or fundament or substructure underneath a street layer with porous/water passing pavement stones or clinkers with drainage and water buffering properties. The drainage blocks comprise four lateral faces, a base, and a single stem connecting the slab and the base, which stem has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than the cross-sectional areas of the slab and the base, thereby forming a water buffering space between the slab and the base; and wherein each of the four lateral faces of the slab comprises a single spacing projection.
INDUSTRIAL MATS HAVING COST EFFECTIVE CORE STRUCTURES
An inventory of industrial mats having different core or internal constructions that are not visible because of the inclusion of side, end, upper and lower components which hide the core or internal construction from view, wherein each mat has an electronic device that indicates what is present in the hidden core or internal construction of the mat, with the electronic device including a processor, storage, and wireless communications circuitry that is configured to transmit identification, location, usage or physical property information of the mats over a wireless telecommunications network. Also, a method for providing an identification of mat properties or usage for an inventory of mats by viewing the information stored on the electronic device or by retrieving over a wireless telecommunications network identification, location, usage or physical property information of the mats from the storage of the electronic device.
Paving block units and paving block system for fluid storage and drainage allowing vertical and horizontal flow of fluid
A paving block system comprising a plurality of paving block units (A) and a plurality of paving block units (B) interlocked together to form a paving block system. The paving block units each comprise at least two channels formed along a bottom face of the paving block units. The channels of the paving block units (A) are in fluid communication with the channels of the paving block units (B) when the paving block units are interlocked together to form the paving block system configured for storage and/or drainage of fluid.

GRASS PAVERS FOR INCREASING VISIBLE GREEN SPACE
A set of grass pavers for creating a paver arrangement is provided. Each grass pavers comprises intersecting longitudinal members and transverse members forming an inner opening for growing grass. Pairs of adjacent member extremities form partial openings configured to form complete openings when a 5 grass paver is assembled with adjacent grass pavers. The longitudinal members and/or the transverse members have recessed portion(s) having an upper face extending below the exposed top face of the unitary body. The recessed portions are hidden by grass when the grass paver is installed and in use in the paver arrangement. The grass paver have an overall surface area delimited by the 10 extremities of the longitudinal and transverse members, and a void surface area corresponding to a sum of the inner opening area and the partial opening areas. The void ratio, defined as the void surface area over the overall area, is greater than 50%.
Perforated tactile warning device
Described herein is a perforated tactile warning device comprising a tactile panel and a porous concrete slab. The tactile panel includes perforations to allow water to pass through the tactile panel and the tactile panel is secured to the porous concrete slab such that a space exists between the tactile panel and the porous concrete slab. Further, the porous concrete slab may include channels to collect water and direct water within the porous concrete slab. Further still, where the concrete slab includes channels, the concrete slab may be nonporous and may utilize drainage holes to permit water to pass through an otherwise nonporous concrete substrate.
