Traffic director and system and method for use thereof
A traffic director includes a distal end and a proximal end, two or more sides extending upward from the proximal end at an angle toward the distal end, a proximal notch disposed near the proximal end between two adjacent sides, and the proximal notch forms a first flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include one or more recessed channels formed in at least one of the two or more sides. The one or more recessed channels forms a second flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include a removable indicator sleeve having an advertisement or directional indicator printed thereon.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING MOTION OF MOBILE WARNING TRIANGLE AND MOBILE WARNING TRIANGLE APPLICANT IN THE METHOD THEREOF
A method for controlling the motion of a mobile warning triangle for suitable placement on a roadway acquires information as to color of the lane markings detected by a sensor. When the mobile warning triangle is first placed on the roadway, the sensor is preset in position to detect the lane marking. White or yellow color information of the lane marking or of the black-colored roadway are detected or are not detected by the sensor, and deviations from a required path are recognized when different colors are received in certain combinations by the sensor. If no deviation is recognized in the colors, the mobile warning triangle continues moving forward. If a deviation in colors is recognized, the mobile warning triangle is controlled to hunt to the left and right through one or more predetermined angles to try to detect or redetect the lane marking.
IMPACT ABSORBING POST
An impact absorbing post including a first layer, second layer and a third layer formed as a mono-structure and having a length. The third layer is configured for being mounted to a supporting substrate so the second layer and first layer extend in a direction away from the supporting substrate. The second layer is more flexible than the first layer or third layer to thereby form a pivotable link between the first layer and third layer.
One-Piece Base Assembly
A one-piece resiliently deformable base assembly for an item of street furniture or a barrier, the base assembly comprising an elongate street furniture receiving portion and a base mounting portion, wherein the base assembly is formed from a polyurethane polymer, and the base mounting portion comprises a flange including one or more fixing elements.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEPLOYING EMERGENCY ROADSIDE SIGNALING DEVICES
Systems and methods for deploying emergency roadside signaling devices are disclosed. In one aspect, system for an autonomous vehicle includes one or more signaling devices configured to visually notify other vehicles when placed on or near a roadway, and an object placing device configured to place the one or more signaling devices. The system further includes a processor and a computer-readable memory in communication with the processor and having stored thereon computer-executable instructions to cause the processor to: determine that the autonomous vehicle has experienced a malfunction, and provide instructions to the object placing device to place the one or more signaling devices on or near the roadway.
A Post
In a preferred embodiment of the invention there is a post comprising a plurality of poles 5 located in and extending from a ground surface adjacent to one another. A sleeve 1 is arranged around the poles 5 so that the sleeve and poles combine to provide a shaft. In this embodiment each pole has a tapered ground-engaging end 6 and the sleeve has a large compartment 2 for two of the poles 5 and a small compartment 3 for one of the poles.

High Speed Hig Performance Delineator System
A traffic delineator system having a flexible delineator body member, a base member, a cylindrical load-collar attached to the body member at a first end and having a second end with rigid tapering threaded shoulder members to be releasably interlocked within a receiving space in the base member. The collar has tapering side walls with a varying thickness from a first end to a second end.
