Reslient fluid control valve above drainage plane
Described is a resilient fluid control valve assembly. The resilient fluid control valve assembly includes a cartridge housing having an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion is formed to reside above a drain opening, while the lower portion is formed to reside within the drain opening. The resilient fluid control valve assembly further includes a resilient fluid control valve positioned within the cartridge housing. The resilient fluid control valve has a valve body portion and a sealing portion. When positioned within the cartridge housing, a portion of the valve body portion resides above the drain opening, and a portion of the sealing portion resides within the drain opening.
Neutralizing Agent with Disinfectant and Deodorizing Effect
A composition in the form of a tablet for neutralizing toilet odor and preventing bacterial growth comprising proteolytic enzymes (protease) and a complex of sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, and a surfactant for foaming, as well as EDTA disodium (Trilon B), sodium percarbonate, dye, and fragrance.
Outlet valve in a waterless urinal for avoiding the return of foul odors from the drainage
The valve is applied in the industry of bathroom furniture, the industry of manufacturing urinals or dry urinals that do not drag waste through water. The valve provides a water seal that does not require dragging water; it is the urine itself that achieves the seal without the odor developed by the urine of the water seal returning to the users' space. A seal is provided by spheres avoiding the use of consumables, such as sealing oil, scent pads, among others. An outlet valve is provided, in a waterless urinal, towards the drainage, preventing the return of foul odors, including a hydraulic trap formed by a tank where a certain volume of urine is formed, a funnel that discharges the new urine into the bottom of the tank, and an upper valve where the seal is carried out by one or two spheres in their respective seats.
Restroom system
A restroom system includes a sanitation station configured for hand washing and a waste station configured to receive a waste material from a user. A suds mixture is flowable through the sanitation station and the waste station and is configured for hand washing and to receive the waste material. The suds mixture includes a fluid layer and a suds layer positionable between the fluid layer and the user so that when the suds mixture receives the waste material the suds layer changes from an original shape to absorb energy and allow passage of the waste material through the suds layer into the fluid layer and then returns toward the original shape to form a protective barrier between the user and the waste material in the fluid layer.
Odor trap device for sanitary fixtures, in particular urinals
The invention relates to an odor trap device for sanitary fixtures, in particular urinals, having a drainage element which has a pipe section, the pipe section defining a sealing wall, having a sealing diaphragm which is in sealing contact with the sealing wall in a closed position and is pushed away from the sealing wall into an open position when fluid, such as urine, is present, and having a holder for mounting the sealing diaphragm relative to the sealing wall. In order to minimise the risk of odor formation in an odor trap device of this kind and also to reliably discharge small quantities of urine or liquid present, it is provided, in accordance with the invention, that the sealing diaphragm is fixed on the holder, the holder being supported below the sealing diaphragm.
LIQUIDS AND VISCOELASTIC MATERIAL REPELLENT AND ANTI-BIOFOULING COATINGS
A process for preparing a repellant smooth surface includes applying a coating composition onto a smooth surface of a substrate having hydroxyl functional groups thereon and an average roughness Ra of less than 4 μm. The coating composition includes: (i) a polymerizable silane or siloxane or both selected from the group consisting of dimethyldimethoxysilane, dimethoxy-methyl(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)silane, dimethoxy(methyl)octylsilane, diethoxydimethylsilane, (ii) a solvent and (iii) an acid catalyst. The process further includes polymerizing the silane or siloxane or both from the hydroxyl functional groups on the smooth surface of the substrate to form a chemical layer of graft polymers having ends anchored to the smooth surface and applying a lubricant coating over the formed chemical layer to adhere and maintain the lubricant on the smooth surface and form a lubricant-entrenched smooth surface as the repellant smooth surface.
Waterless urinal and waterless urinal cartridge therefor
A waterless urinal cartridge, for waterless urinals, includes a housing and a cover. The housing includes a waste reservoir configured to hold a predetermined volume of wastewater, and a drainage aperture configured so that an amount of wastewater exceeding the predetermined volume of wastewater flows through the drainage aperture to exit the housing. The cover is coupled to the housing and includes a sealing fluid reservoir having walls that define the waste reservoir and the drainage aperture, the walls of the sealing fluid reservoir form a containment perimeter with an open bottom so as to contain a sealing fluid floating on top of the predetermined volume of wastewater, and a plurality of fluid passages direct wastewater from the fluid bowl to the sealing fluid reservoir. The waste reservoir includes a fluid flow control feature that restrains wastewater movement within the waste reservoir in response to a change in vehicle dynamics.
URINAL APPARATUS WITH CONSUMABLE CAP
The improved urinal apparatus is configured for insertion in an outlet of a urinal. The urinal apparatus includes a hollow body defining an upper housing and a clamp ring/lower housing. The upper housing provides an open chamber configured to receive and retain a consumable detergent/malodour counteractant and the clamp ring/lower housing is configured to support and retain a resealing valve, which is operable to allow flow of fluid, such as urine, from above, but is operable to prevent backflow from below the resealing valve. The urinal apparatus also includes a consumable cap element, which includes an axial opening at least partway through, wherein the opening is configured to receive at least part of the upper housing. A body of the cap element comprises a plurality of radially extending fins. One of the upper housing or the consumable cap element comprise an upper member comprising an array of holes, which facilitate fluid flow and insertion and extraction of the urinal apparatus as a unit.
OUTLET VALVE IN A WATERLESS URINAL FOR AVOIDING THE RETURN OF FOUL ODORS FROM THE DRAINAGE
The present invention has its application in the industry of manufacturing bathroom furniture, specifically in the industry of manufacturing urinals or dry urinals, that is, urinals or dry urinals that do not drag waste through water. The advantage of our valve with respect to the valves of the prior art, is that our water seal does not require dragging water; it is the urine itself that achieves the seal without the odor developed by the urine of the water seal returning to the users' space; it incorporates an additional seal of spheres the use of consumables in the product, such as sealing oil, scent pads, among others. Structurally, our invention consists of an outlet valve, in a waterless urinal, towards the drainage, to prevent the return of foul odors, characterized by comprising a hydraulic trap formed by a tank where a certain volume of urine is formed, a funnel that discharges the new urine into the bottom of the tank, and an upper valve where the seal is carried out by one or two spheres in their respective seats.
