20180371752 · 2018-12-27 ·

A Wood Wall Support System as a manner to straighten a wall surface and provide a good structure to place drywall, paneling and various finishes on a vertical planar wall surface. It is designed to keep wood walls strong, even and vertically straight by creating a flat plane for the wall finishes. A long T configuration is applied generally in the center of the length of the stud and can be applied to the wall as it is in a horizontal position or after the studs are vertical. This system can be used in both Residential and Commercial wood frame wall applications.

Simulated Log Siding

Simulated log siding is formed of an engineered cementitious composite. Single or dual flanges on each log piece is used to apply siding units to a surface. Some siding members are molded into a three dimensional configuration to appear as a structural wood log. Individual end pieces and molded tail clusters when used with the siding provide the appearance of the characteristic stacked or staggered corners of a log structure.

A building stud for forming a framework for mounting wall panels can include a first and a second flange portions and a web portion interconnecting the flange portions. The flange portions can include a planar, elongated wood fibre member, and the web portion can include a polymer based and/or cellulose fibre based sheet member. The web portion can include a first and a second rectilinear line of weakness. The lines of weakness can be parallel and along which the sheet member is foldable to enable folding the building stud from a retracted storage position to an expanded mounting position.
