The diverter includes a main body having a first portion having a top side and a bottom side, a diverting portion extending from the top side of the first portion at a first angle, the first angle being an angle greater than zero degrees, and an attachment portion extending from the first portion and being configured to attach to the building roof or gutter; a first opening in one of the first portion and the diverting portion, the first opening being configured to allow the water to pass through the one of the first portion and the diverting portion; and a filter element positioned above the first portion of the main body and through which the water can pass.

Cover for water flow inlet

A cover for water flow inlet for rainwater drainage of roof and buildings is disclosed. The inlet cover comprises an outer formation forming a plurality of ridged fins to avoid the vortex formation of rainwater entrainment and to protect the cover from debris materials and a central plate member. The central plate member has a profiled lower surface. The plate member is of an inverted shape with a plurality of ridged formation or channels on the lower surface to further eliminate formation of air inducing and vortices, therefore promoting high volume laminar flow of water in the inlet pipe of the drainage system.

DEVICE FOR DRAINING A LIQUID, AND BUILDING CLADDING ELEMENT COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE
20210017758 · 2021-01-21 ·

The invention relates to a device for draining a liquid, in particular rainwater, from a first film layer (4) which forms at least one part of a building cladding element. A first valve element (26) can be arranged in the region of a first opening (22) provided in the first film layer (4) such that the valve element can be pivoted between a first position, which closes the first opening (22), and a second position, which at least partly releases the first opening (22). Additionally, first opening and closing means (30, 32, 34) which can be attached to the first film layer (4) are provided, said means being designed to keep the first valve element (26) in the first position as long as the pressure (40a) of a liquid (40) which has arrived on the upper face of the first film layer (4) is less than a specified first threshold or maximally equal to said threshold, said pressure acting on the first valve element (26), allow the first valve element (26) to pivot from the first position to the second position if the liquid (40) pressure (40a) acting on the first valve element (26) exceeds the first threshold, and pivot the first valve element (26) from the second position to the first position after the liquid (40) pressure (40a) acting on the first valve element (26) is substantially no longer present.
