PLATFORM SYSTEM
A platform system comprising a platform structure having at least one modular platform unit with platform connection features on a side surface thereof to which other components can be connected, the other components including at least two of the following: another modular platform unit, a stair unit, a tower unit, a handrail unit, and a ladder unit. A stair assembly is connected to the platform structure via said connection features, the stair assembly comprising a plurality of stair units connected together to provide a number of steps equal to the sum of steps of the stair units.
Stair case
A stair case (10) having one or more stringers (12), treads (14), and risers (16), with the treads and/or risers being supported on the stringers. The stair case has first connecting elements, and each tread has at least one of the first connecting elements (18) provided at an under surface that tread. The stair case also has second connecting elements (20) that are each provided to a respective one of the risers. The first and second connecting elements are interconnected to secure each tread to one of the risers, and at least one of the first and second connecting elements is integrally formed in the respective treads and risers.

LIFEGUARD OBSERVATION STATION
A lifeguard observation station having a support structure for allowing a lifeguard to monitor a pool and swimmers or bathers therein. The lifeguard observation station includes a platform which is configured to accommodate the lifeguard. The platform member has a first edge, with at least a portion of the first edge of the platform member and a portion of the platform member adjacent the first edge being configured to extend to or beyond a pool edge of the pool. When positioned on the portion of the platform member adjacent the first edge, the lifeguard is positioned at the edge of the water or over the water in the pool to provide the lifeguard an unimpaired line-of-sight to the swimmers or bathers in the pool.
