Panel and covering
A panel, in particular a floor panel, interconnectable with similar panels for forming a covering, and a covering consisting of mutually connected floor panels.
Floor panel
A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.

A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.
Wedge leveling system
A wedge levelling system for aligning surface coverings includes a tab with a substantially flat base and a vertical member extending away from a central area of the top surface of the base. The base includes beveled feet portions on opposite sides for insertion under lower surfaces of adjacent surface coverings, with the vertical member extending between the tiles. The vertical member is attached to the base with frangible leg. The vertical member includes an opening spaced so as to be above two adjacent tiles. When a wedge is inserted and held in the opening and presses down, the tiles are pushed downwardly toward a surface upon which they are being laid to properly align the edges thereof until the tiles are set, the wedge removed and the vertical member broken off at the frangible leg portions.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING A FLOOR PANEL
An assembly apparatus for assembling a floor panel can include a platform to support a base layer and a top layer of the floor panel. The platform can include a first wall configured to contact a first edge of the base layer and a first edge of the top layer. The platform can further include second wall adjacent to the first wall and configured to contact a second edge of the base layer and a second edge of the top layer. A sensor unit can determine whether the first edge of the base layer is aligned with the first edge of the top layer, and whether the second edge of the base layer is aligned with the second edge of the top layer.
Interconnectable Tiling System
A tile system for covering a surface. The tile system comprises a first tile assembly connected to a second tile assembly by a connector. Each tile assembly comprises a first tile stacked on a second tile, the first tile and the second tile joined to a reinforcing material disposed therebetween. The connector comprises a first component and a second component that is complementary to the first component. The first component is mounted to the first tile assembly, and the second component is mounted to the second tile assembly.
Floor tile levelling device
A system for the levelling of floor tiles, comprising: a separation post incorporating: a base component, a separator component and a threaded shaft; and a threaded cap with: a hollow dome-shaped body, a lower cylindrical component, an upper hub with a central female thread for the assembly thereof on said threaded shaft, and a number of lateral openings separated by a plurality of ribs with a substantially U-shaped structural cross-section, and comprising: —a smooth external web, with no protruding wings or extensions, of increasing width in a downward direction toward a first lateral end with a curved concave profile, —a first wing and a second wing that extend toward the interior of the cap from lateral ends of the web of the ribs and forming ergonomical surfaces for exerting pressure on the cap in the direction of tightening and loosening of the cap.
Floor panel
A floor panel includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer is composed of a print and a transparent thermoplastic layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less and being situated above said print. The floor panel, at least on two opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer extending to below the global level of the print.
A SET COMPRISING A CONNECTION FOOT AND A SOIL COVERING ELEMENT SUPPORT ELEMENT
A set comprising a connection foot and a soil covering element support element, which support element comprises a basis provided for being applied on a surface raising pedestal, which basis comprises a stop member, which connection foot is provided for connecting the support element to the pedestal, which basis of the support element comprises a set of attachment slats, which connection foot comprises a set of first attachment members, the first attachment members being applied in such a manner as to be able to engage between the attachment slats and enter into contact with them so as to enable a translatory movement between the support element and the connection foot, which connection foot comprises a second set of attachment members provided for gripping with the pedestal and enabling a rotation of the connection foot with respect to the pedestal.
Mechanical locking system for panels and method of installing same
Floor panels are provided with a mechanical locking system including a flexible locking element in a locking groove which during a horizontal motion is displaced vertically.
