METHOD OF PRODUCING A VENEERED ELEMENT

A method of producing a veneered element, including providing a substrate, applying a sub-layer on a surface of the substrate, applying a veneer layer on the sub-layer, and applying pressure to the veneer layer and/or the substrate, such that at least a portion of the sub-layer permeates through the veneer layer. Also, such a veneered element.

ENGINEERED PLANK MATERIAL HAVING WATERPROOFED VENEER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
20170321435 · 2017-11-09 ·

An engineered plank material and a method for making the plank material are disclosed. The plank material includes a veneer that is made out of plant material, and includes a nonwoven fabric or fiberglass mesh adhered to an inward-facing portion of the veneer. The plank material includes an adhesive paper material including macromolecular glue, which is between the veneer and a third layer of the plank material, which is constructed from one of bamboo, wood, or paper. The plank material then includes a fourth layer which is an adhesive paper material including a micromolecular glue. These layers are compressed together at a high heat and a high pressure in order to form the plank material.

FLOOR PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLOOR PANELS
20230272623 · 2023-08-31 ·

A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer provided thereon having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The floor panel is rectangular and oblong and comprises a pair of opposite short edges and a pair of opposite long edges. The floor panel, on at least said two opposite long edges, is provided with coupling means allowing that two of such floor panels can be coupled to each other in a vertical direction perpendicular to the plane of the coupled panels and in a horizontal direction in this plane and perpendicular to the respective edge. The wood veneer and/or the substrate immediately underneath the wood veneer is treated at least at the short edges with a fluoro copolymer or a polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate.

STONE PLASTIC COMPOSITE (SPC) FLOOR COMPRISING DECORATIVE SURFACE
20230356502 · 2023-11-09 ·

A stone plastic composite (SPC) floor includes a decorative surface. The SPC floor has an SPC substrate and a decorative surface formed on the SPC substrate; the decorative surface is a wooden board or a bamboo board; the moisture content of the decorative surface is controlled within 5-7%. The SPC substrate is divided into an upper layer, a middle layer, and a lower layer, and the main components of the SPC substrate comprise polyvinyl chloride resin powder, calcium carbonate, a calcium-zinc stabilizer, an inner lubricant, PE wax, chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), acrylic ester (ACR), a composite lubricant, and a coloring agent. The SPC floor can ensure that the decorative surface does not wrap and deform, and other performances of the floor are not affected, and thus is low in costs.

Plank with veneer material fused to rigid core

A plank has a first portion with at least three layers. The first layer is of a plant material, and has an inner surface that includes a nonwoven fabric or a fiberglass mesh. The second layer is of an adhesive paper material that includes a macromolecular glue where the macromolecular glue is 50-55% melamine, 35-40% plasticizer, and 3-5% formaldehyde. The third layer is one of bamboo, wood, or paper. The plank has a second portion, which may be of a plastic composite base material or a magnesium oxide composite base material. When the second portion is of a plastic composite material, the first portion is fused to the second portion by cold pressing or a polyurethane reactive adhesive. When the second material is of a magnesium oxide composite base material, the first portion is thermally pressed to the second portion by cold pressing, hot pressing or a polyurethane reactive adhesive.
