The flooring systems can utilize a gypsum material or any other self-leveling or concrete material along with a structural board or any other type of cement, wood, gypsum board, compressed board, cellulose fiberboard, sheathing board, or sheet metal material. The flooring systems include a waterproof coating applied to the structural boards to provide the water-control features. The waterproof coating covers seams between structural boards and between structural boards and the subfloor.
