Inside corner trim product
A flexible inside corner trim piece is formed with concave depressions at hinge portions where wings attach to the body. The trim piece can be formed such that wings and a top cap lay flat in plane perpendicular to body or wings and top cap curve at an angle. Hinge portions can be narrow or wide and symmetrical or asymmetrical. The trim piece can be dyed, paintable, or present another decorative surface. The trim piece can include embedded lighting.
STRUCTURAL BARRIER AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
An elongated structural barrier is provided including a base, a first panel extending upward from the base, a first sealer wall extending downward and transversely to the base, a second panel joined with the first panel and extending upwardly, a lower wedge extending upward from the base adjacent the first sealer wall, and a core compartment bounded by the lower wedge and the panels, with an open face defined above the lower wedge and offering a view into the core compartment. The lower wedge can include a flange to produce a first cavity of the compartment, in which an intumescent core can be positioned and configured to expand into a second cavity of the compartment when it swells. A second flange can oppose the first flange to further secure the core in the first cavity, and can form a bloom gap therebetween. A related method of use also is provided.
TAPELESS FASTENING AND FINISHING SYSTEM FOR WALLBOARD INSTALLATION
A wallboard-fastening device secures first and second wallboards to a framing member without fasteners passing through the wallboards. The device includes first, second, and third framing panels joined along lengthwise edges to form a three-sided cup sized to fit around the framing member, first and second flat-spring flanges joined along lengthwise edges to form a front seam, and a channel-dividing panel joined lengthwise to the front seam and to the second framing panel to form first and second channels that receive the first and second wallboards. The flat-spring flanges flex to exert restoring forces on the wallboards that push the wallboards against the second framing panel. The device may be configured for edge joints, outside-corner joints, and inside-corners, and thus may be combined for any type of wallboard installation, including both parallel and perpendicular applications.
"h" Channel Member For Use In Siding Renovations
An improved J channel is provided for use when renovating or otherwise altering existing siding clad buildings, being designed with a profile resembling “h” so as to allow simplified installation and reduced labor by allowing for installation without the removal of siding panels beyond the area of the alteration.
Wall paneling system
The present invention provides a wall paneling system that is completely mechanical and does not require the use of adhesives in attaching panels to the walls. The system comprises wall panels having a core with a decorative surface attached to one side and profiled edges that connect to each other by push click, panel connector clips (PCCs) that further connect and secure the interconnecting panels to the walls; and corner moldings for use in paneling adjoining walls meeting at a corner via tongue and groove. The PCCs and corner moldings attach to the walls by mechanical fastening and provide an air space between the walls and the wall panels. Since the wall panels are not directly connected or adhered to the wall, the system allows the panels to be easily replaced by removing and inserting from the PCCs and corner moldings. By using specially adapted bottom seals, seals in the corner moldings and sealant between the panels, the paneling system can be made impermeable to water and is therefore especially useful in area wet areas such as bathrooms.
Flexible corner trim product
A trim piece for sealing a work surface including a body having a first side, a second side, and a span disposed between the first side and the second side, wherein the first side and the second side are joined at a junction defining an angle between the first side and the second side of between 80 degrees and 100 degrees, a topcap is affixed to the span of the body, wherein the topcap includes a left side having a first wing and a right side having a second wing, an adhesive is bonded to the first side of the body and an aperture is disposed within the body.
Flexible corner trim product

Profile system for intersecting joints
A profile system includes elongate profiles (2) for terminating installed tiles with a uniform, substantially L-shaped cross-section comprising a fastening leg (5) for fastening to a substrate and forming a bearing surface. An adjoining, substantially perpendicular, boundary leg (6) forms a contact surface for the tiles and each of the front ends (12) of the boundary leg forms a contact surface provided with a receiving opening (13) for receiving a connecting element (4). At least one corner connecting piece (3) is configured to visually connect the front ends (12) of the boundary legs of three profiles (2). At least two connecting elements (4) are configured so that one exposed end is inserted into the receiving opening (13) of a profile (2) for terminating installed tiles and an other exposed end is inserted into the receiving recess (24) of a corner connecting piece (3).
Structural gap filler and related method of use
An elongated gap filler is provided including a first panel and a second panel in a V configuration joined at an apex, a first extension wall extending from the first panel, a first sealer wall extending downward and transversely to the first extension wall, and a second extension wall extending from the second panel. The first sealer wall can seal against a surface of a wall and set a depth of insertion of the first and second panels and first extension wall into a gap between building surfaces, e.g., a wall top and a ceiling or roof. The second extension wall can be arcuate and can bend against the ceiling or roof. The first sealer wall can be arcuate and can bend against a vertical wall surface. The apex can include a U-shaped groove to enhance articulation of the panels. A related method of use also is provided.
Engineered, flood resilient, magnetically adhered, interior wall panel and trim system
An engineered, flood resilient, magnetically adhered, interior wall panel and trim system is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the system includes galvanized steel mounting strips, magnetically adhered receiver trims, base and chair rail moldings, inside and outside corner trims with receivers, and a plurality of magnetically adhered, tongue and grooved wall panels. The system components are manufactured from waterproof, mold and mildew resistant, insect proof, and recyclable materials, and due to the magnetically adhered attachment system, the present invention's resilient characteristics enable quick and easy removal and re-installation, in the wake of recurring flood events, by those skilled in the art, without the need for nails, fasteners or power tools.
