Certain embodiments described herein are directed to door knob covers, latch covers, urinal handle covers and other covers that can reversibly couple to an underlying structure. In some examples, the cover comprises a bioactive material that can kill or inactivate bioorganisms. The bioactive material can be a photocatalyst and may also comprise one or more transition metals. Methods of preventing or reducing the spread of infections using the covers are also described.
ARM-RECEIVING DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY, SLIDING LOCK ASSEMBLY, AND SYSTEM THEREOF
An arm-receiving door handle and sliding lock system, including an arm-receiving door handle assembly, including an interior plate removably connected to at least a portion of an inner surface of a door to receive a limb of a user thereon, and an exterior plate removably connected to at least a portion of an exterior surface of the door, and a sliding lock assembly, including a knob assembly removably connected to the interior plate to move laterally from unlocked in a first position to at least partially locked in a second position, and from locked in the second position to at least partially unlocked in the first position, a carrier connected to the knob assembly, and a bolt removably connected within at least a portion of the carrier to move from retracted within the carrier to at least partially extended from the carrier in response to moving the knob assembly toward the second position, and move from extended to at least partially retracted within the carrier in response to moving the knob assembly toward the first position.
Disposable doorknob cover with dispenser
A hollow body disposable knob cover is made of a flexible piece of material with an opening sewn of elastic to form fit over the knob down in the projection stem area of knob, upon releasing the disposable knob cover on knob. This disposable knob cover will provide the reduction of cross contamination from multiple users of such things as a door or faucet with a knob, or any knob which may not be sanitized enough with disinfectants. This disposable knob cover is made with either imposed layer of spunbonded polypropylene or polyethylene in either vacuum formed or molded or threaded form or other material such as plastic foam, film formed of block copolymers of styrene and butadiene or elastomeric films of polyurethane or a paper material or non-porous moisture resistant material. The Art form of existing disposable foot covers for the medical profession will be changed to an Art form of disposable knob covers for use by consumers, hospitals, businesses, and in public places. In addition, a dispenser to hold and dispense disposable knob covers can be utilized for easy access and convenience as well as storing in a box ejecting one at a time.
Theft deterrent system for electronics cabinet door
A theft deterrent system for an electronics cabinet includes a handle cover having through-holes dimensioned to align with a through-hole in a handle of the electronics cabinet. The through-holes of the handle cover may be dimensioned to receive a shackle of a lock. The theft deterrent system further includes a shackle cover dimensioned to receive the shackle of the lock. The shackle cover may include an upper tab and a lower tab, each comprising a respective shackle slot therein dimensioned to receive the shackle of the lock.
SPACER FOR PAINTING UNDERNEATH DOOR KNOBS, AND RELATED METHODS OF PRODUCTION AND USAGE
A spacer for painting between a door handles flange and the door without the removal of the door knob. The door handle spacer is constructed of a single piece wider than the door with an open center and access in one side allowing assembly and operation of the knob. First the spacer is inserted into the hole in the door then the knob is assembled through the spacer. The spacer may be inserted into the hole in the door, without any tools. Opposite the access for the plunger is a hole for a wood screw that can be used to fasten the spacer to the door.
Antimicrobial handle cover
A handle cover according to various exemplary embodiments can include a collapsible corrugated tube comprising a tube body of a tubular shape defining spiral corrugations having spiral ridges and spiral grooves, which are arranged alternately running transverse to a length of the tube. A slot is formed longitudinally along the length of the tube. At least one antimicrobial agent is impregnated throughout the tube for inhibiting growth of microbes.
COMBINATION WALL PROTECTOR AND DOOR CATCH
An apparatus including a wall plate, a retaining strap, and a storage groove. The wall plate is attachable to a wall and includes a door facing surface. The door facing surface is configured to stop a door knob extending from a door. The retaining strap is coupled with the wall plate and forms a loop. The loop extends from the wall plate and engages the door knob. The storage groove is disposed between a perimeter of the wall plate and the wall. The storage groove is configured to receive the retaining strap.
DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY
