INTERCHANGEABLE HANDLE LOCKSET
A handle set including a chassis and a handle mounted on the chassis. The handle includes a shank having a load bearing section, a primary actuating section, and a secondary actuating section. The chassis includes a housing, a support spindle, a primary actuator, and a secondary actuator. The support spindle is longitudinally coupled with the load bearing section, and the primary actuator is rotationally coupled with the primary actuating section of the handle. The handle set has a first configuration in which the secondary actuating section is engaged with the secondary actuator, and a second configuration in which the secondary actuating section is disengaged from the secondary actuator.
DOOR LOCK WITH REINFORCED FIREPROOF FUNCTION
A door lock with a reinforced fireproof effect includes a lock body mounted on a door and inner and outer operating units mounted to two sides of the door, respectively. The lock body includes inner and outer chassis made of ferrous material or stainless steel having a melting point higher than 1300° C. Inner and outer fixing members coupled with the inner and outer chassis are also made of ferrous material or stainless steel. Thus, these components of the door lock are less likely to melt during a fire, reducing the spreading speed of the fire.
Door lock and handle assembly
A door handle assembly that allows for easy removal and switching of handles. Such an arrangement may provide the flexibility to change handle orientation and interchange handles based on a user's circumstances or preferences such as when a door handle is configured as a lever having a curved shape. Further, the door handle may be configured as a door lock having a keypad access control. The face of the keypad accessible from outside the door may include auxiliary battery terminals to provide the user with easy accessibility for providing temporary power to the door lock with an auxiliary battery should the installed batteries housed within the door lock fail to provide sufficient power.
SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY
A handle assembly includes a removable handle positioned over a sleeve. The handle assembly includes a catch positioned within the sleeve, and when extended, the catch prevents relative movement between the handle and the sleeve. The handle assembly includes a spindle positioned within the sleeve. The spindle has a longitudinal axis. The spindle is rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. When in the locked position, the sleeve is not rotatable, and when in the unlocked position, the sleeve is rotatable. The handle assembly includes a support structure that is configured to support the spindle. The support structure is in a fixed rotational relationship with respect to the handle. When the catch is in an extended position and the spindle is in the locked position, deflection of the spindle in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis is resisted by way of the support structure.
Variable spring rate chassis
An apparatus including a chassis assembly having a housing, a spindle rotatably mounted to the housing, a spring collar rotatably mourned to the housing, a first biasing element rotationally urging the spindle toward a spindle home position, and a second biasing element rotationally urging the spring collar toward a spring collar home position. The apparatus may further include a handle mounted on the chassis such that the chassis biases the handle to a handle home position with a return torque. The handle is engaged with the spindle such that the first biasing element contributes to the return torque. In certain embodiments, the handle may further be engaged with the spring collar such that the second biasing element contributes to the return torque.
Outer Lock Body for Quick Assembly of Handle
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of locks, and discloses an outer lock body for quick assembly of a handle, including a mounting seat and a handle, where the handle includes a rotating part and a hand-held part, the rotating part is inserted into and fitted with the mounting seat, a quick assembly mechanism is provided in the mounting seat, the quick assembly mechanism includes a limiting body, a limiting ring groove recessed on the rotating part, a holding part, and a push-in member, and with the push-in action of the push-in member, a holding part is pushed open and the limiting body is pushed to partially enter the limiting ring groove. According to the outer lock body, the handle can be quickly disassembled and the direction of the hand-held part can be changed.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR A BARN DOOR
A locking device for a barn door mounted in the wall adjacent a side edge of the door when in the closed position. The lock includes an outer cylinder that passes through the wall. The ends of the outer cylinder are mounted to each side of the wall. An inner cylinder is provided that is axially and slidably disposed within the outer cylinder and has a length greater than the length of the outer cylinder. When so positioned, one end of the inner cylinder can extend from the surface of the wall to prevent the barn from sliding to an open position by contacting the side edge of the barn door. When slid in the opposite direction the inner cylinder disengages from contacting the side edge of the barn door to enable the barn door to slide to the open position. Optionally, a locking mechanism is provided to lock the barn door in the closed position.
LATCH BOLT INSTALLATION STRUCTURE AND DOOR LOCK USING SUCH STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to the field of lockset and provides a lock body a latch bolt installation structure comprising a latch bolt body having a driving part and a latch part, wherein the latch part is detachably connected with the driving part. The latch part is configured with a male part inserting into a female part on the driving part; the female part comprises a first installation position and a second installation position for installing the latch part; when the latch part is installed at the first installation position, a flat surface of the latch part faces towards a first direction; when the latch part is installed at the second installation position, the flat surface of the latch part faces towards a second direction which is opposite to the first direction. The present invention is advantageous in fast reversal of the installation of the latch bolt as well as the construction progress control and user experiences.
