A dial ring assembly for an electromechanical combination lock. The dial ring assembly includes a housing configured to be mounted on an exterior of a securable enclosure. A dial is rotatably disposed on the housing, the dial being rotatable about a dial axis for use in connection with entry of a combination and a sensor configured to detect a rotation of the dial. The sensor provides an output signal based at least in part on the rotation of the dial and wherein the sensor is configured to detect the rotation of the dial over a range of dial rotational speeds.

A door lock apparatus including a door lock housing, a door lock, and a keypad operatively connected to the door lock housing and to the door lock. The keypad includes a protective layer, a decorative layer, and a light source, wherein the protective layer is disposed next to the decorative layer and the decorative layer is disposed between the protective layer and the light source. The decorative layer includes a first surface having a first material located thereon and a second surface having a second material located thereon, and wherein the first material and the second material are generally aligned to provide indicia having a three-dimensional appearance with the indicia being offset from a background plane.

A locking device that can be mounted into a rotating or swinging door is disclosed. The locking device can have a deadbolt. The locking device can detect the position of the deadbolt and/or whether the door is closed. The locking device can have a camera, microphone and speaker. The locking device can send images detected by the camera and audio detected by the microphones to a remote computer.

The disclosure provides a combination lock for locking a closure member. The combination lock comprises a lock assembly comprising a latch bolt and a latch bolt actuating mechanism moveable between a rest state and an actuated state and the combination lock comprising a combination locking mechanism moveable between a blocking state and an unblocking state, and comprises a frame, a combination input means, a combination alteration means, and a cover. The cover is moveably mounted on the frame between an open position in which the combination alteration means are accessible by a user, and a closed position in which the combination alteration means are not accessible by a user, and the cover is moveable from its closed position to its open position when the combination locking mechanism is in its unblocking state and the latch bolt actuation mechanism is in its actuated state.
