Latch assembly and aircraft having same
A latch assembly for a decompression panel in an aircraft includes a base and a swing arm hinged to the base and pivotable relative to the base about a hinge axis between a latched position and an unlatched position. A load pin fixed to the swing arm has a pin axis a fixed distance from the hinge axis. A spring secured to the base is positioned to exert a spring force against the swing arm when the swing arm pivots from the latched position to the unlatched position. A bracket securable to the decompression panel defines a slot retaining the load pin when the swing arm is in the latched position. The load pin is movable in the slot under relative motion of the bracket and the base with the swing arm in the latched position, and exits the slot when the swing arm pivots to the unlatched position.
Locking mechanism for pillarless doors
A locking mechanism for pillarless doors includes a first body mounted on a first side door and having a first cavity, a second body mounted on a second side door and having a second cavity opposite the first cavity, a locking member configured to be movably received between the first cavity of the first body and the second cavity of the second body, and a gas generator including a squib and an inflator chamber containing a gas generant configured to be burned by ignition of the squib, wherein the inflator chamber is separated from the first cavity by a burst membrane.
Motor vehicle latching system with pyrotechnic blocking device
A latching device with a blocking device that is capable of preventing unintentional opening of a door or a flap in the case of a crash. The blocking device includes a pyrotechnic gas generator. The pyrotechnic gas generator triggers in the case of a crash and moves a blocking element into a blocking position which prevents opening of the locking mechanism of the latching device.
SAFETY DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a safety device for attachment at an edge of a door leaf. The safety device comprises a pressure monitor and an electromagnetic lock element. The pressure monitor is configured, in response to a force being applied to the safety device, to issue a signal.
Actuated mechanism for active pedestrian safety latch with meshed gears
A latch travel mechanism for a closure panel of a vehicle, the mechanism comprising: a mounting plate for mounting a latch, the latch for retaining the closure panel; a support plate coupled to the mounting plate by a pair of linkages, the support plate for connecting to a body of the vehicle, the pair of linkages including a pair of arms and a pair of meshed gears coupled to one another; and an actuation mechanism for mounting on at least one of the support plate or the body for extending the pair of linkages in order to move the mounting plate relative to the support plate from a home position to an extended position; wherein the mounting plate is moved from the home position to the extended position during operation of the actuation mechanism.
VEHICLE LATCH DEVICE
Provided is a vehicle latch device including a latch body capable of being lifted up in a state of latching a striker provided to a hood of a vehicle; a position holder that holds a position of the latch body on a vehicle body side during a normal time; and an actuator that is interposed between the latch body and the position holder and lifts up the latch body at a time of pop-up. On the position holder, a striker releaser is disposed which releases a latched state of the striker latched by a latch of a latch mechanism provided to the latch body.
SAFETY DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a safety device for attachment at an edge of a door leaf. The safety device comprises a pressure monitor and an electromagnetic lock element. The pressure monitor is configured, in response to a force being applied to the safety device, to issue a signal.
Integrated system releasing in emergency persons trapped in a vehicle, a method implementing this system, and a method of mounting an actuator opening the vehicle door
An integrated system (PARIS) for releasing the persons trapped in a vehicle comprises a central processing unit (CPU), the input of which is connected to sensors (D1, D2, . . . Dn), and the output of which is connected to at least three executive systems activated in a sequence: a system of automatic opening of the locks and the door bolts and blocking them in open position (LOB), a system of automatic deflecting the doors and locking them in open position (DOB), and a system of automatic cutting of the seat belts (SBC). A method for releasing the persons trapped in the vehicle performed by the system PARIS consists in that when it receives from the sensors (D1, D2, . . . Dn) signals indicating an emergency and when the vehicle stops, the CPU sends to a system of automatic opening of the locks and the door bolts and blocking them in open position (LOB) a signal, then sends to a system of automatic deflecting the doors and locking them in open position (DOB) a signal, and then sends to a system of automatic cutting of the seat belts (SBC) a signal.
METHODS OF EMERGENCY OPENING OF MANHOLES IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS, DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR THEIR EMBODIMENT AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING DEVICES FOR EMERGENCY OPENING OF MOVABLE ELEMENTS INSTALLED IN MANHOLES
The subject matter of the invention are various methods, systems and devices and the ways of their installation/fitting/assembly of emergency opening of manholes (entry openings) or loading holes (door) in emergency situations, especially an emergency move/shift of movable components closing manholes (entry openings), exit openings, loading or unloading openings, from closed position into opened position, such as doors, manholes, hatches, gates, emergency exits, windows, window panes and other, especially in means of transport, construction furnishing devices and premises (buildings). The invention is connected with the use of pyrotechnic actuators which can be telescopic actuators, piston actuators or flexible ones, driven with propelling actuating agents which are in the form of gas generators, pressure of compressed gas or air, compressed air from a compressor or a material with shape memory.
Door opening system with a deceleration mechanism
A door opening system with a deceleration mechanism may be adapted to control an opening of a door module that includes a door panel and a door frame. Deceleration mechanism may include strap that connects door panel with door frame, spool, and spool. Spool may receive one end of strap, is biased to roll up a first portion of strap, and adapted to perform a first unwinding of the first portion of strap. Spool may receive a second end of strap, is biased to roll up a second portion of strap, and adapted to perform a second unwinding of the second portion of strap from spool. Spool may include a braking apparatus that is adapted to decelerate the second unwinding when a velocity of the second unwinding is above a predetermined threshold.
