AUTOMATICALLY CLOSING VEHICLE DOOR
A door assembly for a vehicle includes a door and a check strap pivotally coupled to the door. An engagement member is releasably engageable with the check strap. A spring is positioned to bias the check strap toward the engagement member. When the engagement member is engaged with the check strap, the check strap maintains the door in an open position. When the engagement member is disengaged with the check strap, the door is swung to the closed position under the bias of the spring.
OPENING APPARATUS FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
An opening apparatus for a motor vehicle door element, having an electric drive and an actuating means, wherein the actuating means can be displaced by means of the drive and a gear mechanism arranged between the actuating means and the drive, such that a movement of the door element can be made possible, and a sensor for detecting the door movement, wherein at least one gear mechanism component is pivotably received in the opening apparatus, and the pivoting movement of the gear mechanism component can be detected by means of the sensor.
OPENING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR ELEMENT
An opening device for a motor vehicle door element having an electric drive and an actuating means, wherein the actuating means is adjustable by means of the drive and a gear mechanism arranged between the actuating means and the drive, with the result that a movement of the door element can be made possible, and a sensor for detecting a force on the opening device, wherein the door element can be held by way of the actuating means.
OPENING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR ELEMENT
A method for controlling an opening device and to an opening device for a motor vehicle door element, having a control unit, an electric drive, and an actuating element, wherein the actuating element can be actuated by means of the drive, and the door element can be opened by means of the actuating element. The opening device can be controlled on the basis of a position, in particular the inclination of the motor vehicle.
Door component comprising a controllable damping device
A door component has a controllable damping device and contains a magnetorheological fluid. Two connection units are movable relative to one another. One of the two connection units is connected to a support structure and the other one to a pivotable door unit. The device damps a movement of the door unit between a closed position and an open position in a controlled manner by way of a control unit. The magnetorheological damping device has a piston unit and a cylinder unit surrounding the piston unit. The piston unit divides a cylinder volume into two chambers. The piston unit is equipped with a first one-way valve. The two chambers are connected together, via an external return channel equipped with at least one controllable magnetorheological damping valve, to form a one-way circuit. When the piston unit moves in and out, the magnetorheological fluid flows through the piston unit in the same flow direction.
DOOR PRESENTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR ELEMENT
A door presenting device for a motor vehicle door element, having an electric drive unit and an actuating means, wherein the actuating means can be adjusted by means of the drive unit and a gear mechanism arranged between the actuating means and the drive unit, with the result that a movement of the door element can be enabled, and further having a locking means. The door element can be maintained in position by means of the locking means and the locking means can be electrically actuated, namely indirectly, preferably manually, actuated.
INFINITE POWER DOOR CHECK MECHANISM AND METHOD OF OPERATION
A system for controlling a motion of a door of a vehicle comprising: at least one user interface device comprising a control device, the control device being in operable communication with a door check mechanism configured for resisting the motion of the door relative to a vehicle body, wherein operation of the control device controls operation of the door check mechanism. The door check mechanism can comprise: a linkage coupled between a vehicle body and the door, the linkage configured to pivot about an axis; and a brake assembly coupled to the linkage for applying a resistive force to the linkage to resist rotation of the linkage about the axis.
DOOR PRESENTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR ELEMENT
A door presenting device for a motor vehicle door element having an electric drive unit and an actuating means, wherein the actuating means can be adjusted by means of the drive unit and a gear mechanism arranged between the actuating means and the drive unit, with the result that a movement of the door element can be enabled, and further having a locking means. The door element can be maintained in position by means of the locking means and the locking means can be electrically actuated, namely indirectly, preferably manually, actuated.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR CAR DOORS
The invention relates to a locking device for car doors, especially for car doors without door handles, having an electronic control unit for the authorization of access, which is connected to one or more sensors, i.e. a proximity sensor, a touch sensor, a radio transmitter, etc. and/or to an antenna for wireless communication, i.e. a NFC (near field communication) antenna for communication with a smart device like a smart card, a mobile phone, a smart watch, a smart key etc., and a driven mechanical lock/or unlock unit including a latching element for latching the closed door end position.
According to the invention, a latching element is provided to block an intermediate position 3 of the car door 1, into which the car door 1 is movable dependent on a correct access authorization and wherein the intermediate position 3 enables a grip behind the outside surface of the door 1 to unlock the intermediate position 3 and to allow the further movement of the door 1 into the open end position 4.
POWER ACTUATOR UNIT FOR POWERED DOOR HAVING A MECHANICALLY ACTUATED CLUTCH/BRAKE ASSEMBLY
A power drive mechanism includes an electric motor configured to rotate a drive member, a housing having an inner wall bounding a cavity, and an extensible actuation member linearly moveable in a first direction to move a vehicle swing door in an opening direction and in a second direction to move the vehicle swing door in a closing direction. A clutch/brake assembly is disposed in the cavity of the housing. The clutch/brake assembly operably connects the drive member with the extensible actuation member. The clutch/brake assembly is moveable from a disengaged state, whereat the extensible actuation member is inhibited from moving relative to the housing, to an engaged state, whereat the extensible actuation member moves relative to the housing. The clutch/brake assembly moves mechanically from the engaged state to the disengaged state in response to the electric motor changing from the energized state to the de-energized state.
