Stay for locking a door, window or flap in a partly open position

A stay is provided. A first part (12) including a base (16) for attachment to a wing or to the frame surrounding the wing and an elongate internally threaded tube (24) which is attached to the base (16) in such manner as to be free to pivot with respect to the base. The stay further includes a second part (14) including a rod (58) with threading compatible with that of the tube (24). A locking element (50) with a circumferential groove is attached to and protrudes transversely from the rod (58) and there is a cylindrical element (40) forming part of a base (34) for attachment to the wing or frame. There is first bore in the element (40) for receiving the element (50) and a threaded second bore intersecting the first bore for receiving a cap screw which enters the groove to prevent withdrawal of the element (50) from the first bore. The second bore is closed by a disc (62) with an Allen key hole opening (64) in it through which the capscrew can be turned.

POWER SWING DOOR ACTUATOR WITH INTEGRATED DOOR CHECK MECHANISM
20170292311 · 2017-10-12 ·

A power swing door actuator for moving a passenger swing door relative to a body portion of a motor vehicle. The power swing door actuator includes a housing rigidly fixed to the swing door, a motor mounted to the housing, a connector link having a first end pivotably coupled to the vehicle body portion and a second end pivotably coupled to a drive nut of a spindle drive mechanism. A leadscrew of the spindle drive mechanism is rotatably driven by the motor for causing relative translational movement between the drive nut and the leadscrew which, in turn, results in pivoting movement of the connector link while the vehicle door swings between open and closed positions in response to selective actuation of the motor. The power swing door actuator is further equipped with an integrated door check mechanism.

WINDOW SECURITY DEVICE

A window security device has a support rod capable of securely contacting an upper window frame and a lower window frame. The device has two horizontal arms extending from away from the support rod terminating in thin blades capable of sliding between a first stationary window and a second sliding window sash. The device prevents unwanted tampering with the device by children located on the inside of the window as well as burglars located on the exterior of the window and to be easily removed in the event of a fire. The length of the device's blade can be adjusted allow a window to safely remain open a specified distance, and the device's arms can be adjusted to fit many different widths of windows. When the blades are disposed between the windows, the window is slid open and contacts the window stop, located at the end of the horizontal arms.

Stand and lighting device

A stand for a lidded box such as a luminaire and a lighting device comprising said stand. Said stand comprising a rotatable resilient stay and comprising a bridge portion connecting two transversal portions. Each transversal portion having a respective axial portion extending over a rotation axis. Said stand further comprising two facing supports comprising a seat. The seat being elongated in a length direction transverse to the rotation axis, said length direction and rotation axis extend in a plane P. Each axial portion being accommodated in a respective axially extending hole, provided in a respective support, the respective holes and seat being positioned aligned on the rotation axis. The transversal portions having a connect portion connecting the transversal portion with its axial portion, whereby in a seated position of the stay the connect portion extends through the seat in plane P and at an angle α with the length direction, with α in a range of 25° to 75°.
