STAY
A stay includes a first arm rotatably connected to any one of a body or a door openable to the body; a second arm, one end of the second arm being rotatably connected to the first arm and the other end being connected to any one of the body or the door. The first arm includes a resilient body, a slider urged by the resilient body to the second arm. A case slidably supports the slider toward the second arm, and a pressing part is abutted and pressured onto a cam face disposed to the second arm by the slider. An adjustment mechanism changes a pressing position between the cam face and the pressing part to a crossing direction with respect to a sliding direction of the slider and a rotation shaft axis direction of the second arm.
Window stay
A window stay, comprising: a frame plate; at least one arm coupled to the frame plate by a frame plate pivot; and a bearing plate engaged with the frame plate, the bearing plate and the frame plate together configured to be mounted to a window frame; wherein the bearing plate comprises a reinforcing insert for spreading a load applied through at least part of the at least one arm to the bearing plate; wherein the reinforcing insert is made of a material with more strength and/or rigidity than the material of the bearing plate. A window stay comprising: a frame plate; at least one arm coupled to the frame plate by a frame plate pivot; and a bearing plate engaged with the frame plate, the bearing plate and the frame plate together configured to be mounted to a window frame having a frame channel; wherein the bearing plate comprises a support member for supporting the bearing plate above the frame channel; wherein the support member is a projection that extends from beneath the bearing plate.

LOCKING APPARATUS FOR FLAP DOOR OF VEHICLE
A locking apparatus for a flap door of a vehicle includes: a body bracket fixed on a vehicle body; a flap bracket fixed on the flap door; a lower side link with a first end connected to the flap bracket and a second end connected to the body bracket; an upper side link with a first end connected to the flap bracket and a second end connected to the body bracket at an upper side of the lower side link; a stopper groove and a stopper protrusion provided on the first end of the upper side link; a locking cam mounted to a rotational shaft of the lower side link relative to the flap bracket, while being in contact with the stopper groove and the stopper protrusion; and a spring installed between the flap bracket and the locking cam to elastically switch a direction of rotating the locking cam.
Casement window operator
A window operator for repositioning a window sash within a window frame. The window operator includes a crank handle for rotating a shaft with a pinion gear. The pinion gear operably engages with a rack containing cutouts, the rack having oppositely disposed first and second ends. The rack is translatable within a track disposed within the window frame. The window operator also includes an operator arm connectable between a first end of the rack and the sash wherein rotation of the shaft by the handle imparts movement to the rack and the operator arm, the rack and operator arm movement capable of transitioning the sash between a window open and a window closed position.
Window sash restraint device
A window sash restraint device for selectively restraining a window sash in one of an open position and a closed position relative to a window frame. The window sash restraint device includes a body adapted to be fixed directly to the frame or sash and a restraining member which in an active condition, restrains the sash in either the open position or the closed position relative to the frame and when inactive allows movement of the sash relative to the opened or closed positions. The device further comprises a manually releasable restraining mechanism for holding the restraining member in the active condition. The device is adapted to restrain the sash in the opened position, with an opening small enough to prevent a child from falling out of the window yet secure enough to prevent the child from further opening and falling from the window.

Escape Hatch Stay System
An escape hatch stay system for an aircraft and methods of using the escape hatch stay system. An escape hatch stay system includes a first stop arm, a second stop arm, and a gas strut. The first stop arm is rotatably coupled to the second stop arm, and the second stop arm is pivotably coupled to the gas strut. The first and second stop arms are lockable to preclude relative movement therebetween to lock the escape hatch in an open position. When the escape hatch is in the open position, the escape hatch may not be closed shut without manual intervention. When the escape hatch is in the open position, a load applicable to push the escape hatch open past the open position is damped by the gas strut.
