Locking apparatuses and a method of providing access control
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for providing a locking apparatus for resisting movement of an openable element are described. The locking apparatus includes a body, an actuator, a lifting member, at least a portion of the lifting member being configured to be raised or lowered relative to the body according to an output of the actuator, the lifting member comprising a contact surface configured to restrict movement of the openable element, and a strap coupled to the body and to the lifting member, the strap configured to permit the lifting member to flex based at least in part upon contact between the lifting member and the openable element and to transfer energy received at the lifting member into the body of the locking apparatus into a surface to which the locking apparatus is mounted.
Door locking foldable safety trim
Object of the invention is a door locking foldable safety trim which increases the strength of the door, it ensures a more efficient way to increase safety. The invention has an adjustable button for locking the trim into the desired angle ensuring the proper fitment to secure. With the release button to close and retract back to the closed position completely flushed, thus giving it a natural trim appearance around the door.
Systems and methods for preventing the opening of a door by unauthorized personnel
Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed involving a door blocking apparatus to reduce a likelihood of, and possibly prevent, opening of a door by unauthorized personnel. The apparatus may be networked in a security system and may be connectable to an online security platform. In a particular embodiment, an embodiment of the invention may include a security system involving a plurality of door locations having a plurality of networked door blocking apparatus. Each door blocking apparatus may include a door blocking mechanism operable by a user on a safety side of a door, such as having the user rotate an apparatus handle that rotates the door blocking mechanism between a non-blocking position and a blocking position. In the non-blocking position, the door blocking apparatus does not block the door from opening and closing. In the blocking position, the door blocking apparatus blocks the door from opening and from closing completely.
Sliding closure for cabinets
A frame assembly with sliding panels is described. The frame assembly includes a frame having an upper section opposite of a lower section. The lower section of the frame defines a first channel and a second channel. A first sliding panel includes a first lower edge. A first panel support is removably engaged to the first lower edge. The first panel support includes a first holding member that engages to the first lower edge. The first panel support slides in the first channel. A second sliding panel includes a second lower edge. A second panel support is removably engaged to the second lower edge. The second panel support includes a second holding member that engages to the second lower edge. The second panel support slides in the second channel.

In the blocking position, the door blocking apparatus blocks the door from opening and from closing completely.
Locking Apparatus, Locking Member, and Method of Use
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for restricting movement of an openable object including a body, an actuator, a lifting member, at least a portion of the lifting member being configured to be raised or lowered relative to the body using the actuator to selectively restrict movement of the openable object, and a control circuit including a transceiver configured to receive a requested operation, the control circuit configured to process the requested operation and to control the locking apparatus responsive to the requested operation to place the locking apparatus in a locked or an unlocked state.
Passive Door Bolt Assembly
A bolt assembly for securing a passive door panel relative to an entryway frame. The bolt assembly has a base to be fixedly mounted relative to the passive door panel, a catch attached to the base with a leaf spring to deflect relative to the base, and a bolt which is able to translate relative to the base between a retracted position and an extended position for securing the passive door panel. The bolt is biased toward the extended position and selectively maintained in the retracted position by the catch.
Safe locking apparatus with enhanced strength
A locking apparatus with enhanced strength for use with a safe having a pivotably mounted door is provided. The locking apparatus includes a cam rotatably mounted to the door's rear wall and positioned within an internal cavity of the safe in the closed position, a plurality of arm members slidably mounted to the cam, and a shaft coupled to the cam. The shaft is maneuvered to rotate the cam in a first direction to permit the arm members to adjust to an extended position beyond a perimeter of the door within the safe's internal cavity, thereby locking the door in the closed position. The shaft is maneuvered to rotate the cam in a second direction to permit the arm members to adjust to a retracted position within the perimeter of the door, thereby unlocking the door and allowing pivotal movement of the door to the open position.
Wirelessly actuated cover for a structure
A cover is configured to selectively engage with a portion of a structure in response to receiving a wireless electrical power signal at a receiver antenna of the cover from a wireless power source located in an outside environment, to separate a first environment on a first side of the cover from a second environment on a second side of the cover opposite the first side. In response to wirelessly receiving the electrical power signal, a fastening subassembly of the cover changes from a secured mode configured to inhibit opening a cover body with respect to the structure, to an unsecured mode configured to facilitate opening the cover body with respect to the structure. This in turn allows the cover to be matingly engaged with a portion of the structure to form a smooth continuous surface, without any exposed fasteners on the exterior side of the cover.
