CASE BODY WITH A DOUBLE-TOGGLE LOCKSET
A case body with a double-toggle lockset, which includes a first case and a second case which are pivoted on each other. The main feature is that a double-toggle lockset is provided on the lift side of the second case, which includes a casing holder, a core, two pull parts and two linked buckle components, wherein the distance between the toggles of the two pull parts is in the range which allows a normal adult to pull the toggles with one hand. When the locking component of core is in release mode, the user can pull the toggles of the two pull parts to drive the two linked buckle components, so that the buckle parts are released from the locating hooks of the first case, the first and second cases can be opened.
Covering device
A covering device for a storage compartment of a vehicle includes a cover that is slidably mounted for movement between a closed position and an open position. An actuating element is arranged on the cover for manually actuating the cover to be moved along a movement direction between the closed position and the open position. In the closed position a latching part of the cover engages a projection to lock the cover in the closed position. A spring bias is provided to bias the latching part of the cover into engagement with the projection when the cover is in the closed position. The latching part and the projection are engaged in such a way that a locking action of the latching part on the projection is released by manual actuation of the actuating element in the movement direction.
Latch
A latch that is waterproof or water-resistant so as to resist the entry of water through the latch. The latch can be a slam latch having a pawl with a shaft. A sealing element, for example, a collar and/or an O-ring, can be placed around the shaft of the pawl to resist water from entering through the latch. The pawl can also enclose the cavity in which the latch handle is maintained so water cannot enter through the cavity. Other measures, such as a gasket and selective welding, can also be implemented to improve the water-resistance of the latch.
Overhead storage bin latch system
A latch system that includes a paddle button assembly having a button that is movable between home and actuation positions, a latch assembly that includes a striker assembly with a striker and a hook assembly, and a cable that extends between the paddle button and latch assembly. The hook assembly includes a hook, a pivotal trigger arm, and a manual override switch that is movable between first and second positions when the trigger arm is moved from an engaged position to a disengaged position. Movement of the button from the home position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the cable, thereby pivoting the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the striker. Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the manual override switch from the first to the second position.
DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM
A locking system for an enclosure, including a control bracket mounted to a door of the enclosure and configured to slide in a longitudinal direction along a guide rod running through a pin bracket of the control bracket. The control bracket further includes a latching pin to secure the door of the enclosure. A handle mechanism has a push rod that causes the control bracket to slide along the longitudinal direction, also causing the latching pin to move into a position that secures the door.
Handle for a door or window with two or three point latch
A latching system for a door or window that includes a first snap stop member adapted to be arranged at a side edge of a leaf of the door or window, the first stop member includes a pawl rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the plane defined by the leaf; a second snap stop member adapted to be arranged at an upper edge of the leaf, the second stop member comprising a pivot translatable in a vertical direction; a handle rotatable so as to control the releasing movement of the first and second stop members, the handle being rotatable about a horizontal axis parallel to the plane defined by the leaf; and a first and a second transmission mechanism for converting a rotation of the handle into a rotation of the pawl and a translation of the pivot, respectively.
Three point lock
A fenestration assembly includes a frame assembly, a movable sash assembly and a lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a first lock and a second side lock. The first lock operatively locks and unlocks the moveable sash to the frame assembly in a first direction only when the movable sash is in a fully closed position. The first side lock operatively locks and unlocks the movable sash in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction both when the movable sash is in the fully closed position and a partially open position.
Latch assembly for NEMA enclosures
An enclosure is provided which meets NEMA standards of construction but with an improved latch assembly including a latch coupled to opposed latch arms which permits closure and locking of the front panel of the enclosure without the use of a key to operate the latch.
