Rotary actuated slam latch system

Rotary actuated latch systems with linearly acting latch rods, and methods of assembling rotary actuated latch systems with linearly acting rods are disclosed. In some aspects, the rotary actuated latch systems are self-engaging and comprise a handle having two guides, the handle operably attached to a spring, two latch rods comprising clevises operably attached to the two guides, and at least two strike plates for actuating the latching system without additional user input. The spring applies equal tension to the two linearly acting latch rods, allowing for smooth operation of the latching system without binding while providing for a compact design that eliminates stresses imposed by conventional latch systems where the latch rods rotate off-axis. In some embodiments, the rotary actuated latch system may be assembled as a complete unit, prior to installation on the mechanism to be latched.

Electronic lock

An electronic lock includes a base, an electromagnetic mechanism, a connecting mechanism, a clamping mechanism and a magnetically-attractable plate. The base has an opening. The electromagnetic mechanism has a protrusion block. The electromagnetic mechanism is installed within the base. The protrusion block is penetrated through the opening and exposed outside the base. The connecting mechanism is connected with a rear cover. The clamping mechanism is arranged between the connecting mechanism and the electromagnetic mechanism. Moreover, the magnetically-attractable plate is connected with the clamping mechanism. When the electromagnetic mechanism is electrically conducted to generate a magnetic attraction force, the magnetically-attractable plate is attracted by the magnetic attraction force, so that the clamping mechanism is attracted on the electromagnetic mechanism. By pushing the protrusion block of the electromagnetic mechanism, the clamping mechanism is correspondingly moved and disengaged from the connecting mechanism.

Opening and closing device for glove boxes

An opening and closing device, which opens and closes a glove box includes a housing coupled to the glove box, a handle rotatably mounted on the housing, a locking unit mounted so as to be movable in directions of releasing the glove box from the dashboard of a vehicle, a link rod configured to connect the handle and the locking unit to each other and to move in a height direction of the locking unit when a user rotates the handle, and an elastic member configured to apply force to the locking unit so that the locking unit is engaged with engaged parts of the dashboard, and the locking unit is movable in a length direction of the locking unit in a state of being interlocked with the link rod so that the locking unit is released from the engaged parts of the dashboard.

Door locking mechanism and semiconductor container using the same

A door locking mechanism and semiconductor container using the same include door panel, cover, and locking module. The door panel has a first stop structure. The cover and the door panel define an accommodating space for receiving the locking module. The locking module includes rotating member, holding member, and elastic member. The elastic member is disposed on the holding member and has a second stop structure near the first stop structure. The elastic member is disposed between the holding and the rotating member. The elastic member is compressed when a force is applied to the holding member, and the second stop structure detaches from a limitation state with the first stop structure for allowing a rotating operation of the rotating member. The elastic member elastically restores when the force is removed, and the second stop structure returns to the limitation state for limiting the rotating operation.

Lock device

A lock device includes a housing; a pair of rods disposed slidably in a linear direction relative to the housing, and switched between a lock position separated from each other, and a release position approaching each other; and an operating member allowing the rods to be switched from the lock position to the release position by changing from an initial state to an operating state. The lock device engages/disengages opening/closing members with/from a main member through the rods, and is formed by the housing, the rod, the operating member, a connection member urging the rods in a connected state in a direction of separating the rods from each other, and an urging member disposed between the housing and the operating member and serving as a swaying resistance of the operating member when switched from the operating state to the initial state through an urging force of the connection member.

Integrated door lock for an aircraft galley container

There is provided herein an aircraft galley container including a door, a latch mechanism, and a lock. The latch mechanism is positionable in a latched position preventing opening of the door and an unlatched position permitting opening of the door. The latch mechanism includes a handle, a pair of rods and a rotatable plate. The rotatable plate is coupled to the handle and configured to be rotated by the handle and to convert rotational movement of the handle to linear movement of the pair of rods to place the latch mechanism in the latched and unlatched positions. The lock is configured to selectively prevent the rotatable plate from rotation to maintain the latch mechanism in the latched position.
