The pivoting hinge part (14) is manually pivotable, if the motor (16) is decoupled from the pivoting hinge part (14).
Hinge module including detent structure and foldable electronic device including the hinge module
A portable communication device includes a housing including a first housing portion and a second housing portion; a flexible display accommodated in the first housing portion and the second housing portion; a first hinge plate coupled to the first housing portion; a second hinge plate coupled to the second housing portion; and a first hinge structure disposed between the first hinge plate and the second hinge plate, the first hinge structure including a first plate coupling portion coupled with the first hinge plate, the first plate coupling portion including a first protruding portion and a second protruding portion spaced apart from each other to form a space therebetween; and a second plate coupling portion coupled with the second hinge plate, the second plate coupling portion configured to be, at least partially, engaged in the space between the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion if the housing is unfolded, and to be disengaged from the space if the housing is folded.
PIVOT HINGE
A pivot hinge includes a spring housing with a central tube, a spring assembly, an upper mounting plate, and a lower mounting plate. The bottom end includes a knurled outer surface. A stop cam is positioned about the knurled outer surface and has an inner surface that conform to the knurled outer surface so that it may be positioned in a plurality of rotatable positions relative to the central tube. The stop cam also has an exterior surface which includes a detent. The different rotational positions of the stop cam upon the knurled outer surface changes the relative position of the detent in relationship to the central tube. A cam follower assembly is coupled to the lower mounting plate and has a cam follower plate with a cam follower that rides upon the stop cam and engages the detent recess to hold the door in an open position.
Small bulkiness hinge
A low-bulkiness hinge for closing a closing element anchored to a stationary support structure, such as a wall, a frame or a floor includes a hinge body which includes a longitudinal operating chamber defining a first axis, a pivot coupled to the hinge body to rotate around a second axis between the opening and closing positions of the closing element, and a slider slidable in the operating chamber along the first axis. The operating chamber has a first seat for the pivot and a second seat for the sliding of the slider, which includes a shaft and an operative head that are mutually coupled. The hinge body has a first opening for inserting, perpendicularly to the first axis, the operative head into the second seat and a second through opening for inserting, coaxially to the first axis, the shaft into the housing. The hinge further has the shaft and the operative head fixed to one another after insertion in the second seat (so as to form a unitary assembly integrally slidable along the first axis.
Multi-link door hinge
A multi-link door hinge is proposed. The multi-link door hinge includes: a main body frame provided in a main body of an apparatus having a door; a door frame provided on the door; a body frame rotatably connected to one side portion of the main body frame; an inner link and an outer link rotatably connecting the door frame to the body frame; a leaf spring link rotatably connecting the main body frame to the outer link; an upper cam coupled to a portion connecting the body frame to the inner link in a co-rotatable manner, provided between first and second side portions of a sidewall of the inner link, and securely coupled to the body frame; an upper elastic member having a first side portion provided inside the inner link and a second side portion rollably coupled to the upper cam and elastically supporting the door frame.
Door hinge
The present invention related to a door hinge for opening a door, which includes a cam fitted to the housing and hinged to the door, a roller that is in contact with an outer curved portion of the cam and is pushed backward according to the eccentric rotation of the cam, a damper case coupled with the roller and a pin and moving linearly backward according to the pushing pressure of the roller, a chamber formed at the end of the damper case, a guide tube extending to the end of the damper case in which the chamber is formed recessedly, a damper cover fixed the housing with a fastening pin and accommodating space is formed therein to accommodate the guide tube, a damper installed in the accommodating space of the damper cover, and a rod configured to exert a compressive force of the damper.
Systems and methods for electronic devices with integrated support
A hinge device for supporting an electronic device includes a first portion and a second portion movable relative to the first portion with a biasing element supported by one or the first portion or the second portion.
