Piezoelectric Device
In an embodiment a device includes a piezoelectric transducer element and a support connected mechanically to each other thereby forming an assembly, wherein the piezoelectric transducer element and the support are configured to be jointly deformed under an action of a first force, wherein the support includes a neutral fiber arranged inside the support, the neutral fiber configured to not undergo any change in length during a bending of the assembly, and wherein the piezoelectric transducer element includes a ferroelectric polymer layer or a layer having a composite material including a ceramic material and a piezoelectric polymer matrix.
Storage device
A storage device includes a shutter having a vertically divided dome shape formed by cutting a one-end-closed cylindrical shape at two planes, the one-end-closed cylindrical shape being formed by closing an upper end of a cylindrical portion whose axis line is along an up-down direction, an arc-shaped lower portion reinforcing member which has a higher rigidity than the cylindrical portion, a housing, which includes an opening portion, the opening portion being opened and closed by the shutter rotating around the axis line, a bearing portion provided in the housing, which suspends and supports the ceiling surface portion, a lower end support portion, which supports a lower surface of the lower portion reinforcing member at a plurality of locations; and an inner side support portion, which supports an inner peripheral surface of the lower portion reinforcing member at a plurality of locations.

Revolving door
A revolving door comprising an at least partly cylindrical shell wall, which is embodied with an entrance and an exit, and two rotatable door wings, which during normal operation are placed in each other's extended direction inside the shell wall, wherein between the shell wall and an end of at least one door wing, which end is movable near and along the shell wall, a sliding door is provided which is suitable for closing off the entrance or exit respectively, and in that during normal operation an end of the door wing is constantly positioned near the sliding door and between its lateral edges, and wherein the sliding door comprises two adjacent separable sliding door parts which in normal operation are connected to each other and are movable away from each other in an emergency situation to provide a free and unobstructed passage way through the entrance or exit respectively.
CAB DOOR
Disclosed are front entry cabs, and power machines with front entry cabs, having a door that is moveable between opened and closed positions. In the opened position, the door is positioned within an operator compartment of the cab above the operator seat and below a top of the cab. A linkage system defines the travel path of the door between closed and opened positions. The linkage system is configured to minimize interference with operator visibility.

Screening apparatus and assembly
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to apparatuses and related methods involving a screening apparatus and assembly. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a plurality of panels, a frame and, for each panel, a locking mechanism coupled to the frame and a mechanical actuator connected to the panel and the frame. The locking mechanism locks the panel in place when engaged with the panel, and may do so at a different angle of rotation, relative to the other panels. The mechanical actuator positions the panel relative to the frame and offset from the other panels, and facilitates rotation of the panel about an axis of rotation that is fixed relative to the frame, in response to the panel being disengaged from the locking mechanism.

Support attachments for a door and a door frame
Improvements to a door frame and a door having an outer edge and an inner edge mounted for movement between an open position of the door withdrawn from the door frame and a closed position of the door received by the door frame, the improvements including bearing components carried by the door frame and the door proximate to the outer edge. One of the bearing components includes a member, and the other one of the bearing components includes a roller. The roller is brought into rolling contact directly against the member as the door is closed and remains in rolling contact directly against the member when the door is closed, positively lifting and supporting the door thereby preventing the door from sagging or binding on the door frame as the door is almost closed and when the door is in the closed position.
