Systems and Methods for Operating a Movable Barrier Operator
A method is provided for operating a movable barrier operator system in connection with a delivery. The method includes, at the movable barrier operator system, receiving a delivery open command and moving a movable barrier from a closed position to an open position. The method further includes identifying a delivery timer value based at least in part upon the delivery open command, operating a timer using the delivery timer value, and moving the movable barrier from the open position toward the closed position upon expiration of the timer.
IN-VEHICLE DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING A MOVABLE BARRIER OPERATOR
In one aspect, an in-vehicle device is provided that includes a sensor configured to detect a vehicle characteristic indicative of the vehicle being in proximity to a location associated with a movable barrier operator. The in-vehicle device includes communication circuitry to communicate an open command to the movable barrier operator that causes the movable barrier operator to open a movable barrier connected to the movable barrier operator. A memory is configured to store a vehicle arrival condition indicative of whether the vehicle arrived at the location associated with the movable barrier operator. A processor is configured to determine satisfaction of the vehicle arrival condition and, upon the vehicle arrival condition not being satisfied, cause the communication circuitry to communicate a close command to the movable barrier operator that causes the movable barrier operator to close the movable barrier.
EASY-TO-INSTALL DOOR OPENER
A door opener includes a mount seat having a bottom wall. A reinforcing seat is fixed to the bottom wall. A driving device for opening or closing the door is detachably coupled to the reinforcing seat and includes a motor. A quick-release device includes a quick-release seat fixed to the bottom wall and having a first coupling portion. The quick-release device further includes a movable member slidably coupled to the quick-release seat and having a movable coupling portion. A control device includes a protective housing and a control panel coupled to the protective housing. The protective housing is detachably coupled with the first coupling portion and the movable coupling portion. The driving device is selectively mounted to make the motor face or face away from the control device. An outer cover covers the driving device and the control device and includes a window in which the control panel is located.
AUTOMATIC GARAGE DOOR CONTROL
A method, apparatus and system is disclosed for automatically opening and closing a garage door without user intervention. A vehicle-mounted mobile transmitter autonomously and continuously transmits a repeating signal pattern when power is applied to the transmitter as a vehicle is started by a user. A movable barrier gateway device receives the signals from the mobile transmitter and compares an identification code contained in each of the signals to an identification code stored in memory. When a match is found, the movable barrier gateway device sends a signal to a movable barrier controller to open the garage door, and keep the door open as long as the movable barrier gateway continues to receive the signals from the mobile transmitter.
ON-VEHICLE DEVICE CONTROLLER
An on-vehicle device controller controls operation of an on-vehicle device in a vehicle. The on-vehicle device controller acquires vehicle positional information regarding a position of the vehicle and user positional information regarding a position of a user who is to board the vehicle, and controls operation of the on-vehicle device based on a user arriving time of the user arriving at the vehicle, that is calculated from the vehicle positional information, the user positional information, and a moving speed of the user.
Carbon monoxide detection assembly
A carbon monoxide detection assembly includes a detection unit that may be positioned in an enclosed area. The detection unit includes a carbon monoxide sensor to detect carbon monoxide in the enclosed area. A remote unit is in electrical communication with a garage door opener and the detection unit. The remote unit turns the garage door opener on when the carbon monoxide sensor detects carbon monoxide. A valve is fluidly coupled to a fuel source for a gas appliance and the valve is in electrical communication with the detection unit. The valve restricts the fuel from flowing to the gas appliance when the detection unit detects carbon monoxide. A communication unit is in electrical communication with an emergency responder and the detection unit. The communication unit alerts the emergency responder that carbon monoxide has been detected in the enclosed area.
METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT A CLOSING OPERATION, CLOSING DEVICE, SERVER APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION TERMINAL FOR CARRYING OUT A METHOD OF THIS TYPE
A method for carrying out a closing operation of a closing part device of a vehicle driven by an electric motor drive unit is disclosed. The method has the following steps: ascertaining friction force data that represent a current stiffness of the closing device using a machine learning method that has been trained with reference friction force data from past closing operations as input data, wherein the input data are transmitted to a server apparatus that is configured to ascertain the friction force data using the machine learning method, ascertaining target drive power data, taking the friction force data into consideration, for the drive unit, and operating the drive unit based on the ascertained target drive power data to carry out the closing operation in at least one subsequent closing operation.
Configuration of entrance systems having one or more movable door members
A control arrangement for an entrance system, having one or more movable door members and an automatic door operator for causing movements of the one or more movable door members between closed and open positions, includes a controller and one or more sensor units. Each sensor unit is connected to the controller and arranged to monitor a respective zone at the entrance system for presence or activity of a person or object. At least one sensor is an image-based sensor unit having an image sensor arranged for capturing an image of an external object, a memory arranged for storing a plurality of settings for the image-based sensor unit, and a processing device. The processing device is arranged for processing the image captured by the image sensor to identify a machine-readable optical code therein, deriving a configuration instruction encoded by the optical code, and executing the configuration instruction.
Door closer diagnostics system
A method and apparatus relating to generating, by at least one motion sensor of a data acquisition device that is mounted to a door having a door closer, motion data indicative of motion as the door is moved from an open position to a closed position, generating, by at least one load cell of the data acquisition device, load data as the door is being opened, analyzing the motion data and load data by a central processing device, determining at least one adjustment to the door closer based on at least one of a duration the door was in each of a plurality of door movement zones, as determined using the motion data, and a force applied to open the door, as determined using the load data, and displaying at least one installation instruction corresponding with the at least one adjustment on a graphical user interface of the central processing device.
