Fenestration unit with accessible IG space
Various systems and methods are provided for controlling access to the insulated glass space of a fenestration unit. A hinge lug is provided including a lug body having a mounting portion, a cam portion defining a curved cam surface, and a retention portion projecting from the cam portion, and a first retention arm extending from the lug body such that the retention arm is elastically deflectable away from the retention lip. A restrictor link is provided including a restrictor link body having a first end and a second end, wherein the restrictor link body is elastically deflectable, a securing lock positioned proximate the second end, and a cap extending from the securing lock, the cap defining an engaging surface operable to engage the lip channel of the sash. A latch system is provided including a latch base with a ramp access aperture and a latch body including a ramp.
ONE-WAY DAMPING HINGE
A one-way braking hinge capable of self-aligning a shaft and a one-way clutch is provided. The one-way braking hinge (10) includes a first leaf (1), a shaft (3) rotatably supported by the first leaf (1), at least one resistance part (4) that resists rotation of the shaft (3), a second leaf (2) rotatably coupled to the shaft (3), a one-way clutch (12) into which the shaft (3) is inserted, and a position adjusting member (11) to which the one-way clutch (12) is fixed. The position adjusting member (11) is position-adjustably coupled to the second leaf (2).
DOOR LEAF AND DOOR SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a door leaf formed of a flexible material, wherein the flexible material is resistant to puncture and resistant to tearing; and to a door system comprising the door leaf.
Modular Center Post, Associated Kit and Associated Method
A kit for use to support a building member such as a guide for a door for use in post frame construction includes a column defining a longitudinal axis of the column. The column has opposed first and second ends. The kit further includes a connector extending from the first end of the column. The connector has a first set of connecting features and a second set of connecting features. The second set of connecting features is at least partially distinct from the first set of connecting features. The kit further includes a first physical feature for engaging the building member and a second physical feature for engaging the building member. The second physical feature has at least one feature different from the corresponding feature of the first physical feature. The first set of connecting features secures the first physical feature to the column and the second set of connecting features secures the second set of physical features to the column.
ELEVATING-TYPE SHELTER DOOR
An elevating-type shelter door enables operators to easily open and close in a short period of time, is highly water-tight, and has an excellent durability. A shelter door opens and closes an opening portion when a door body ascends and descends along a guide rail by means of an elevating device. The opening portion is provided on a ceiling of a shelter body. The shelter body is defines an interior space which serves as an evacuation space in an underground. A main body has a central convex portion which slidably fits to the opening portion along an inclination direction in which both the opening portion and the guide rail inclines. An elevating stand is slidably fixed to move along a rest column. The elevating stand is located above the opening portion when the door body is fully ascended and located in the interior space when the opening portion is closed.
Methods and systems for automatically determining level of unclosed door in chute applications
The present subject matter relates to systems and methods for automatically determining the level of an open chute door in connection with a chute system in a building structure. The position of the open door on the chute is automatically determined, without requiring any configuration at each door on the chute, utilizing a daisy chain wire signal connection and a chute busy wire (enable signal) signal connection. Pulses or other signals are counted at a base station to determine the level of the open door.
Sliding door system capable of inline closure and capable of use with corner openings
A sliding door system for inline closure of an opening in the wall of a structure, which may be a building or an item of furniture, for example, that includes a door panel, a guiderail assembly, and a guiderail coupled to the wall mount via a plurality of doubled-hinge assemblies that together serve to allow the guiderail to pivot towards and away from the wall, and includes a stop on the guiderail that serves as a catch, or cam, that causes a closing force on the door panel to be transferred to the double-hinge assemblies and to cause the door panel to be pulled into inline closure in the opening.
Sliding Security Door with Passive Deadlock Prevention
In a high-security sliding-door apparatus for closing and opening a corridor, the door having (a) a door frame having a track and a bi-directional effector, (b) a carriage having track-engaging rollers, (c) a slide plate slidably secured to the carriage and driven by the effector, and (d) a controller controlling slide-plate movement and enabling the door to be continuously closed but not locked, the improvement comprising centering apparatus for relative positioning of the slide plate and carriage, the centering apparatus including (1) a yoke attached to the slide plate at a yoke pivot and having a yoke cam surface thereabove, (2) a carriage-attached yoke-cam follower, and (3) springs having proximal ends attached to the yoke spaced above the yoke pivot and distal ends each attached to the carriage at points offset from the yoke pivot in opposite lateral directions, centering the door with the slide plate when unlocked.
Hinged clamp and stand element building blocks
A building block includes a plurality of panel elements that are each rotatable relative to each other one of the plurality of panel elements; a connecting pin that passes through and rotatably connects the plurality of panel elements to each other; and a plurality of connectors, each connector rotatably attached to a respective panel element, where each one of the panel elements includes at least on locking feature configured to create a releasably fixed connection between adjacent panel elements.
