ELEMENT FOR A WINDOW, DOOR, PITCHED ROOF OR FACADE, COMPRISING A DEVICE FOR SENDING OR RECEIVING LETTERS AND PARCELS FROM AN UNMANNED AIR VEHICLE
An element for a window, door, pitched roof, or faade for installation in a building opening of a wall, a faade, or a pitched roof, includes a device for sending or receiving letters and parcels. The device is designed such that the letters and parcels can be picked up or delivered by an unmanned air vehicle. The element for a window, door, pitched roof, or faade includes an outer leaf and an inner leaf, which are separated from one another by an intermediate space.
VISUAL SECURITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SELF ADJUSTING WINDOW
A smart window including a motorized shade is provided, particularly where the smart window includes a frame portion having a first subframe and a second subframe for mounting the smart window and routing the motor wirings. In a described embodiment, the smart window comprises: a frame portion including a wiring chase positioned internal to the frame portion and a glass portion. The glass portion may comprise a motorized shade, the motorized shade including a motor, a motor wiring, and a shade roll; a first pane of glass attached to the frame portion on an exterior side of the smart window; and a second pane of glass attached to the frame portion on an interior side of the smart window; wherein the frame portion surrounds the glass portion, wherein the motorized shade is attached to the frame portion between the first pane of glass and the second pane of glass by a hanging system, and wherein the motor wiring is positioned internal to the frame portion and the wiring chase.
Architectural manufactures, apparatus and methods using additive manufacturing techniques
An apparatus, method and manufacture utilizes additive manufacturing techniques to produce architectural manufactures such as windows and doors. The manufactures may have a composite construction and may feature inclusions like metal plates and reinforcements. The model used for controlling the manufacturing process may be derived from digital scanning of the structure on which the manufacture is used. Optionally, a finite element analysis is used to test the model and alter it in response to stress and/or thermal requirements.
OVEN
Provided is an oven including a door for opening and closing a cooking chamber, in which a locking portion provided on a glass holder for supporting an outer glass moves along a locking slot provided in a chassis to be fitted to the locking slot, so that assembly of the door is facilitated.
Composite Sash and Frame for Windows and Doors
A composite sash and frame for windows and doors uses a sash assembly, a frame head, a frame sill and a frame jamb to thermally maximize structural integrity, prevent thermal transfer, and increase aesthetic appeal. The composite sash and frame for windows and doors uses a two-sided system. The first side is constructed from rigid durable materials that are designed to withstand corrosion and is positioned on the exterior surface of a building. The second side is constructed from aesthetically appealing thermally isolating materials and is positioned on the interior surface of the building. The sash assembly, the frame head, the frame sill, and the frame jamb are all constructed using this two-sided architecture, and are thus specifically designed to withstand corrosion and damage while satisfying the user's aesthetic requirements.
INTEGRATED FENESTRATION WALL ASSEMBLY
A fenestration wall assembly includes a fenestration frame extending along a perimeter of the fenestration wall assembly. The fenestration frame includes a socket core having a first module socket configured to interchangeably receive service modules therein, and a second module socket configured to interchangeably receive service modules therein. The interchangeably received service modules include at least first and second service modules. Each of the first and second modules includes respective first and second module profiles. A panel having a panel profile is surrounded by the fenestration frame. The panel profile is isolated from the first and second module profiles.
Hardened operable window systems and methods
Blast, ballistic, and entry resistant operable window systems include a sliding exterior glazing panel assembly, a sliding interior glazing panel assembly, an exterior frame assembly that receives the sliding exterior glazing panel assembly, an interior frame assembly that receives the sliding interior glazing panel assembly, an exterior gasket for placement between the exterior frame assembly and the wall of the building, a central gasket for placement between the exterior frame assembly and the interior frame assembly, and an interior gasket for placement between the interior frame assembly and the wall of the building. Methods of installation in a wall of a building are also provided.
DOUBLE-SKIN FA?ADE ELEMENT
A double-skin fa?ade element comprises a planar outer glazing element and a planar inner glazing element which are held at a distance from one another in a thermally insulated surrounding frame profile; at least one pressure equalization device which is in air-conducting connection with the outside atmosphere and with a fa?ade intermediate space which is provided between the outer glazing element and the inner glazing element at least one drying device fillable with desiccant, is either located in the fa?ade intermediate space or is integrated into the surrounding frame profile and exchanges air with the fa?ade intermediate space; wherein the at least one pressure equalization device and the at least one drying device are positioned and dimensioned such that they do not extend into a transparent region of the fa?ade element. The at least one drying device is designed to make it possible to replace the desiccant.
CONSTRUCTION PROFILE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME, A WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME COMPRISING SUCH CONSTRUCTION PROFILE AND A RESULTING WINDOW OR DOOR
A construction profile, in particular for a window or door frame, includes: a) a polymeric core profile; b) a metallic side profile structurally attached to the polymeric core profile such that the polymeric core profile and the metallic side profile behave as a single structural entity. The construction profile defines a room side that in use faces an interior of a building, and an exterior side that in use faces the outdoors. The polymeric core profile includes side walls defining a cavity divided in multiple inner rooms separated by inner walls extending in a longitudinal direction of the construction profile. The metallic side profile is provided on a side wall of the polymeric core profile facing the interior, external of the polymeric core profile.
Door-ready molding
A door system including a primary door molding attachable to a primary door frame, the primary door molding including a first vertical member and a first hinge member extending from the first vertical member. One of a horizontal member from which the first vertical member downwardly extends and the first vertical member includes a first rotatably engageable element, and the first hinge member includes a second rotatably engageable element vertically spaced from the first rotatably engageable element.
