Panel assembly
A panel assembly including a panel that can be positioned in an opening, the panel including a plurality of locking members spaced apart along at least part of a length of and proximate to opposing longitudinal edges of the panel and a guide extending along either side of the opening, each guide including at least one locking flange extending along at least part of a length of the guide, wherein in use the panel is received in the guides so that the locking members selectively engage the flanges to limit lateral movement of the panel edges.
SEAL FOR AN OVERHEAD DOOR
A seal for an overhead door includes a first sidewall, and a second sidewall that extends from the first sidewall. The first and second sidewalls extend beyond a bottom corner of the overhead door to cover an opening formed by compression of an astragal attached to a bottom surface of the overhead door.
Air seal for a liftable closure
A liftable closure element movable between a lowered and a raised configuration, is associated with a portal structure having a compartment for storing the closure element, delimited by a front wall, a space being provided which communicates with the compartment and with the outer environment between the wall and the closure element. An air seal device for the liftable closure includes first and second sealing members adapted to reach a facing position in which they adhere by magnetic attraction to close the transverse space, one connected to the wall for supporting a ferromagnetic plate, the other consisting of a magnetic member fixed to the closure element. The first sealing member includes a base structure which can be fixed to said wall by first and second adjustable fasteners in a position exactly corresponding to the position of the sealing member fixed to the surface of the closure element.
Perimeter light blockout system
A perimeter light blockout system for minimizing light leakage between light gaps such as, for example, between the sides of a covering (e.g., shade) of an architectural-structure covering and the interior side surfaces of a window frame, or between the covering and the outer surface of an interior wall is disclosed. The perimeter light blockout system including a light blocking device and a mounting element for coupling the light blocking device to the interior side surface of the window frame, or the outer surface of the interior wall. The light blocking device may include rear and front channel members. The mounting element may be a mounting extrusion. Alternatively, the mounting element may be a spring clip. In use, the light blocking device may be adapted and configured so as not to contact the covering as the covering moves between extended and retracted positions. The mounting element may include a degree of adjustment so that the light blocking device may be aligned with an out-of-skew window frame.
Roller tube
A roller tube comprising a tube body which defines on its outwardly facing surface one or more blind substrate or shutter substrate receiving portions, wherein the tube body includes a plurality of sound damping elements located circumferentially around its inwardly facing surface, the sound damping elements extending longitudinally along at least part of the length of the tube body and defining a plurality of sound channels inside the tube.
DOOR ASSEMBLY
A door assembly, for an opening in a building, comprising a sealing assembly, wherein the sealing assembly is configured to seal a gap (36) between the rolling shutter door (4), the opening, and a surface of the building proximal the opening. The seal comprises a resiliently deformable member (48), and a sealing member (46), mutually positioned such that the resiliently deformable member co-operates with the sealing member when the rolling shutter door is in the closed position to seal the gap, which prevents or mitigates passage of sound, smoke, heat, and the like through the gap. The door assembly is preferably an acoustically-insulating door assembly.
ELECTROMECHANICAL HOME-AUTOMATION ACTUATOR
An electromechanical actuator (11) for a closure, obscuring or solar protection installation (6) includes a motor assembly (16), including an electric motor (261) and a reduction gearbox (265), first and second (133) mechanical modules for filtering vibrations, and an output shaft (20), inserted at least partially in a casing (17. the electromechanical actuator (11) extends along a longitudinal axis (X), the first and the second mechanical modules (33, 133) being disposed on either side of the motor assembly (16) along the longitudinal axis (X) and each having a rigid transmission coupling, with at least a first degree of freedom perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (X), allowing the motor assembly (16) to move along a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X), the electromechanical actuator also comprising at least one elastic module (130) that limits the movement of the motor assembly (16) along the perpendicular plane.
ROLLER SHUTTER
A roller shutter includes a chamber with an opening, a roller curtain movable between being fully contained within the chamber and extended beyond the chamber through the opening, and at least one guide rail along and relative to which said roller curtain is movable between being retracted and extended, wherein the roller curtain includes a plurality of slat members interlocked with each other for relative pivotal movement, the plurality of slat members collectively forming first and second major surfaces, and a first layer of fire-resistant and/or heat-resistant fabric fixedly mounted to the first major surface of the slat members and a second layer of fire-resistant and/or heat-resistant fabric fixedly mounted to the second major surface of the slat members, and wherein the guide rail includes at least a first sealing member which, when the roller curtain is extended, contacts or presses into the first layer of fire-resistant and/or heat-resistant fabric.
MODULAR ROLL-UP WALL SYSTEM
A roll-up wall system including a frame having a longitudinal axis, a first roller disposed in the frame, a second roller disposed in the frame, and a tube disposed in the frame. A screen may be connected to the tube. The screen may be supported by the first roller and the second roller. Further, the screen may be movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the screen is rolled around the tube which is spaced a first distance from the first roller. In the second configuration, the screen forms a barrier adjacent the frame, and the tube is spaced a second distance from the first roller. The second distance may be less than the first distance. Also, the roll-up wall system may be an acoustic barrier which achieves a Sound Transmission Class rating ranging from approximately 31 STC to approximately 53 STC.
SEAL FOR WINDOW COVERING
A seal apparatus for a window shade having a first side seal on one side of a window and a second side seal on an opposite side of the window. The side seals have a base anchored to a side of a window frame, and an extensible sealing portion coupled to the base and being extensible toward the window shade to enclose a volume between the window and the window shade.
