Surgical stapling instrument having a releasable buttress material
A staple cartridge comprising a cartridge body, staples, and a sled is disclosed. The cartridge body comprises a longitudinal slot separating the cartridge body into a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The cartridge body further comprises a first longitudinal row of staple cavities defined in the first lateral side and a second longitudinal row of staple cavities defined in the first lateral side. The staple cavities of the first longitudinal row of staple cavities are angled toward the longitudinal slot. Gaps are present between the staple cavities in the first longitudinal row of staple cavities. The staple cavities of the second longitudinal row of staple cavities are angled toward the longitudinal slot. The staple cavities of the second longitudinal row of staple cavities are laterally aligned with the gaps. The staples are removably stored in the first and second longitudinal rows of staple cavities.
Heat distribution device for hybrid vehicle
A heat distribution device for hybrid vehicle is provided, including: an engine cooling circuit through which cooling water for cooling an internal combustion engine circulates; a MG cooling circuit through which a refrigerant for cooling a motor generator circulates; and a heat exchanger which performs heat exchange between the cooling water and the refrigerant. When it is determined based on a charging rate SOC of a battery that the battery can be charged, charging control is performed to charge the battery with electric power generated in a regenerative operation; when it is determined that the battery cannot be charged, heat dissipation control is performed to dissipate the heat generated by the regenerative operation to the engine cooling circuit side by the heat exchange between the refrigerant and the cooling water in the heat exchanger.
COOLING DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND COOLING METHOD OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A cooling device for an internal combustion engine is provided. The cooling device includes a first passage connected to the internal combustion engine and circulating a coolant, a second passage connected to the internal combustion engine and circulating the coolant, a heat exchanger provided on the first passage and configured such that heat exchange is performed with respect to the coolant, a first pump provided on the first passage, a second pump provided on the second passage and an electronic control unit controlling the first pump and the second pump. The electronic control unit, when a temperature of the coolant is no lower than a predetermined temperature, drives the first pump such that a flow rate of the coolant in the first passage increases as compared to when the temperature of the coolant is lower than the predetermined temperature, and performs first control of stopping the second pump.
Electromagnetic silicone oil water pump clutch and working method thereof
An electromagnetic silicone oil water pump clutch, comprising: a water pump body, a pump shaft, an electromagnetic solenoid coil, a belt pulley, a coupling shaft sleeve, a driven disc, a spring piece, a coupling disc, a driving disc, and a silicone oil cavity shell. The pump shaft is provided at the center of the water pump body; a fixing plate is provided at one end of the water pump body; the electromagnetic solenoid coil is provided on the fixing plate; the belt pulley is provided on the water pump body; the silicone oil cavity shell is pressed and riveted on one side of the belt pulley; the coupling shaft sleeve is fixed to one end of the pump shaft; the spring piece is provided on the outer side of the coupling shaft sleeve; the coupling disc is provided on the spring piece.
SURGICAL STAPLING INSTRUMENT HAVING A RELEASABLE BUTTRESS MATERIAL
A surgical stapler including an anvil, a staple cartridge, and a buttress material removably retained to the anvil and/or staple cartridge. In various embodiments, the staple cartridge can include at least one staple removably stored therein which can, when deployed, or fired, therefrom, contact the buttress material and remove the buttress material from the anvil and/or staple cartridge. In at least one embodiment, the anvil can include at least one lip and/or groove configured to removably retain the buttress material to the anvil until deformable members extending from the surgical staple are bent by the anvil and are directed toward and contact the buttress material.
HYBRID PUMP APPARATUS
A hybrid pump apparatus (100) having a pump subassembly having an inlet and an outlet an electrical drive (110) arranged to selectively drive the pump subassembly, a mechanical drive comprising a driven member (104) configured to receive a drive torque; and a clutch (160) in a load path between the driven member and the pump subassembly, the clutch being movable between a first condition in which the driven member drives the pump subassembly and a second condition in which the driven member can rotate freely relative to the pump sub assembly in which the clutch is a dog clutch.
AUXILIARY COOLANT PUMP WITH BYPASS
An auxiliary coolant pump for circulating a coolant in a vehicle thermal system having a main coolant pump includes a housing, an impeller, a motor selectively driving the impeller, a coolant inlet configured to receive the coolant, a coolant outlet fluidly coupled to the coolant inlet, and a bypass passage fluidly coupled between the coolant inlet and the coolant outlet. When the main coolant pump is on, the auxiliary coolant pump is selectively turned off such that coolant flows through the bypass passage to reduce or eliminate restriction of the coolant flow rate in the thermal system. When the main coolant pump is off, the auxiliary coolant pump is selectively turned on such that coolant continues to flow through at least a portion of the thermal system.
