Motorcycle
A motorcycle including a protection cover for a throttle body that is less likely to contribute to an increase in the vehicle weight to thus improve the attachability thereof. A motorcycle includes a throttle body provided with a throttle valve for controlling a flow rate of intake air into an internal combustion engine and an air cleaner for supplying air to the throttle body. The throttle body is arranged at a rear of the air cleaner with an intake port of the internal combustion engine being arranged at a rear of the throttle body. The air cleaner includes a throttle body protecting section for covering at least a lower surface of the throttle body.
Two-wheeled vehicle
A two-wheeled vehicle includes a frame having a front frame portion, a mid-frame portion, and a rear frame portion. The mid-frame portion is coupled to the rear frame portion and the front frame portion. The vehicle further includes a plurality of ground-engaging members for supporting the frame. The front frame portion is removably coupled to the mid-frame portion with a plurality of frame members extending between the front frame portion and the mid-frame portion.
V-TWIN ENGINE ASSEMBLY
One embodiment of the invention relates to an internal combustion engine including an engine block having a first cylinder and a second cylinder, a crankshaft configured to rotate about a crankshaft axis, a flywheel coupled to the crankshaft, a throttle body, an air filter assembly, a first electric fan coupled to a first duct, and a second electric fan coupled to a second duct. The first duct is configured to direct cooling air directly over the first cylinder. The second duct is configured to direct cooling air directly over the second cylinder. The first cylinder is at least partially within the first duct. The second cylinder is at least partially within the second duct.
VEHICLE INTAKE
A vehicle including an air intake system for an engine component includes a vehicle frame including one or more frame components, at least one of the one or more frame components includes an engine air passage and at least one intake port in communication with the engine air passage. At least one duct port of the frame component is in communication with the engine air passage. An engine component is coupled with the vehicle frame, and an intake duct extends from the at least one duct port to the engine component.
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH SUPERCHARGER FOR SADDLE-RIDE TYPE VEHICLE
An internal combustion engine 31 for a motorcycle includes a supercharger 63 arranged above a crankcase 81 positioned below a front cylinder head 92 of a front bank 31A and a rear cylinder head 97 of a rear bank 31B. In the internal combustion engine 31 for the motorcycle, the crankcase 81 is covered with a case cover 116 from the outside in a vehicle width direction, and the supercharger 63 is supported by a supercharger supporting portion 116a provided above the case cover 116.
AIR CLEANER FOR VEHICLE
In an air cleaner for a vehicle, a connection part of a first intake duct to a cleaner case is disposed in a front half portion of one of left and right half portions of the cleaner case, the first intake duct including a first air inlet port opening forward. A connection part of a second intake duct to the cleaner case is disposed in a rear half portion of an other of the left and right half portions, the second intake duct including a second air inlet port opening rearward. The first intake duct is formed to include a first air outlet port opening rearward inside an unpurified chamber and curve in an up-down direction in a side view, and the second intake duct is formed to include a second air outlet port opening forward inside the unpurified chamber and curve in a right-left direction in a plan view.
AIR CLEANER AND VEHICLE
An air cleaner includes a filter element, a case having an opening and being configured to accommodate the filter element, and a lid configured to close the opening. The case includes a wall including a first surface and a second surface that are formed on at least one of an outer surface and an inner surface of the case and are continuous with each other in an opening direction of the opening through intermediation of a stepped portion. The case further includes a rib formed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface to extend in the opening direction.
SADDLE-RIDE TYPE VEHICLE
In a saddle-ride type vehicle in which an intake device is arranged at a position covered by a fuel tank from above, the intake device including: an air cleaner; a connecting tube having an upstream end thereof connected to the air cleaner; a throttle device including a throttle valve and connected to a downstream end of the connecting tube; and a resonator, a curved portion bulged upward and curved in a chevron shape is formed in the connecting tube, and the resonator arranged between the fuel tank and the connecting tube is connected to the connecting tube on the air cleaner side further than a top portion of the curved portion as seen in a side view of the vehicle.
Motorcycle
A motorcycle comprises a vehicle body frame including: a head pipe; a pair of main frames extending rearward from the head pipe to be apart from each other in a vehicle width direction; a cross member extending in the vehicle width direction and connecting rear end portions of the pair of main frames; and a pair of rear frames extending rearward from the cross member; and an engine connected to the pair of main frames, each of the pair of main frames includes a trellis section, and a single pipe section extending rearward from the trellis section and having a rear end joined to the cross member, the trellis section is provided with a first mount to which a front portion of a cylinder head is connected, and the single pipe section is provided with a second mount to which a rear portion of the cylinder head is connected.
STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle-type vehicle comprises a supercharging device which compresses intake-air to be sent to a combustion chamber of an engine; a catalyst provided in an exhaust passage through which an exhaust gas emitted from the engine flows; and a control section which controls the engine, wherein the control section performs an increase suppressing control for suppressing an increase in an exhaust gas temperature, in a case where the control section estimates that the exhaust gas temperature has exceeded an increase suppressing temperature set to be equal to or lower than a catalyst permissible temperature.
