SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTI-DIMENSIONAL KNOWLEDGE REPRESENTATION
Exemplary embodiments generally relate to knowledge representation, and in particular, multi-dimensional knowledge representation in a configurable document that includes a collection of subparts that have a number of dimensions. Further, a number of versions of each configurable document may be defined, with each version including a different subset of subparts from the collection of subparts.
Optimal dispatching method and system for wind power generation and energy storage combined system
An optimal dispatching method and system for a wind power generation and energy storage combined system are provided. Uncertainty of a wind turbine output is characterized based on spatio-temporal coupling of the wind turbine output and an interval uncertainty set. Compared with a traditional symmetric interval uncertainty set, the uncertainty set that considers spatio-temporal effects effectively excludes some extreme scenarios with a very small probability of occurrence and reduces conservativeness of a model. A two-stage robust optimal dispatching model for the wind power generation and energy storage combined system is constructed, and a linearization technology and a nested column-and-constraint generation (C&CG) strategy are used to efficiently solve the model.
ULTRACAPACITOR PITCH ENERGY MODULE
A pitch energy module comprising one or more ultracapacitors storing electrical energy for a wind turbine emergency pitch energy event. The pitch energy module replaces at least one battery within a battery housing of a wind turbine and interfaces with the existing battery wiring harness to communicate with a control system of the wind turbine. The pitch energy module is installed without further modification to the battery housing or the battery wiring harness.

WIND CHARGER
Devices and methods for generating energy (e.g., electrical energy) from wind. A preferred form is directed to a wind charger that creates energy from wind to be directed to a source needing the created energy, e.g., one or more batteries. The batteries can be used to power any device including but not limited to devices in homes needing energy and/or devices that transport one or more persons over land, in the air or over water. Preferably, a mounting assembly optimally positions one or more elements generating electrical energy from wind relative to direction of wind to maximize the electrical energy generated by wind.
Atmospheric greenhouse gas removal
A material (such as potassium hydroxide or ammonia) capable of reacting with ambient carbon dioxide to produce fertilizer is placed in the path of ambient air movement. Desirably the material is associated with a fabric which in turn is associated with a vane of a vertical axis wind turbine, the turbine performing useful work as well as supporting the material which produces a fertilizer. A misting system controlled by a controller may automatically apply a water mist to the material if the humidity is below a predetermined level. The fabric with produced nitrogen and/or potassium fertilizer may be placed directly into contact with soil, or shredded first, or burned to produce energy and an ash (and the ash applied to the soil). The wind turbine may have a convenient, versatile mounting system with three adjustable legs supporting a central component, and the spokes of the wind turbine may be slotted for easy assembly with vanes.

AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEM CONTROL IN HYBRID POWER PLANTS
According to embodiments described herein control of the auxiliary power system in a hybrid power plant is provided by determining a grid-draw threshold from an external power grid; monitoring power consumption for powered systems of the hybrid power plant; monitoring power generation of the hybrid power plant; discharging an alternative power source of one or more of an Energy Storage System (ESS) and an auxiliary generator in response to the power consumption exceeding the grid-draw threshold; and implementing prediction algorithms for power generation of the hybrid power plant and the power consumption. Accordingly, a source of power is managed between several alternative sources and the external power grid to meet plant operator defined criteria when maintaining power in various wind speed conditions.
Renewable Power Generation System for Vehicles
The present invention relates to an electric power generating system for vehicles. The system includes at least one wind turbine positioned to capture incoming air which is coupled to a wind generator for converting into electric power. The system has solar panels installed on the exterior surface of the vehicle such as trailer of a semi-truck for absorbing solar energy and converting into electric power. The electric power produced by the wind generator and the solar panels is stored in a battery pack for providing electric power to the electric battery of the vehicle. An emergency generator provides electric power to the vehicle when the power of both the electric battery and the battery pack is insufficient. The system slows down the depletion of battery charge, thus enabling the vehicle to stay on the road for a longer duration and improves overall charging experiences for the electric vehicle.
